Wang Jingli, female, 36-years-old, went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong in June 2000 and was illegally imprisoned at Shuangcheng Detention Center for 16 days. She was also extorted 128 Yuan [about US$16, the monthly wage of an average urban worker in China is 500 Yuan] for "boarding" expenses. As she persisted in speaking the truth, she was detained for another 50 days and subsequently transferred to the Harbin Detention Center in her hometown, where she persisted in practicing Falun Gong. As a result, evil guards Liu Yang, Cao, Zhuo, detention center chief Wang, section chief Wang beat her up. Three female guards (Liu Yang, Cao, Zhuo) took turns slapping her until they were tired. The evil persons also viciously beat her with plastic pipes and had shackles put on her feet for eight days. She was then sent to Wanjia Labour Camp for an illegal one-year sentence of forced labor. During her imprisonment she was extorted 400 Yuan. When she was detained in the Wanjia Labour Camp she went on hunger strike to protest against illegal detention and to request her unconditional release. The evil persons beat her up after unsuccessful attempts to force-feed her. The evil guards even ordered criminal Qian Lei to beat her up three times. After she was released from the Wanjia Labor Camp, people from Shuangcheng No. 2 Storage Station dragged her into the brainwashing class and illegally detained her for one month. Sun Dianxia, female, 53-years-old, went to Beijing's Tiananmen Square to rectify the Fa on April 26, 2001. Train police intercepted her along the way in Jinzhou City and sent her to the Jinzhou Detention Center to be illegally detained for 7 days. The 50 Yuan in her pocket was confiscated. Village officials, Zhang Guoxiang and Liu Xichen, escorted her back and sent to the Shuangchen Detention Center where she was illegally detained for 15 days. Chaoyang Town government official Zhao Xiuxia extorted 600 Yuan from her. Subsequently, she was forcibly sent for a brainwashing class in a retirement home. After being illegally detained for 20 days, the town government officials released her, after extorting 100 Yuan from her.
Wang Liping, female, 27-years-old, was intercepted in Changchun City on her way to rectify the Fa in Beijing on February 27, 2000. She was illegally detained in the Shuangcheng Detention Center for 32 days before being released. On November 3, 2000, she went to Beijing to validate the Fa once again. She was intercepted at the Lanling train station and for 55 days imprisoned in Shuangcheng Detention Center before being sent to one year of illegal forced labor. She was extorted a total of 230 Yuan.
Wang Youqin, female, 55-years-old, went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong on May 8, 2000 and was illegally locked up in Jinzhou for 45 days. On November 3, 2000, she went to Beijing to appeal again and was illegally arrested at the Lanling Train Station. She was then sent to Shuangcheng for one year of illegal forced labor. She was extorted 1,350 Yuan by Zhang Qing, secretary of Nongfeng Village.
Liu Xiuru, female, 65-years-old, went to Beijing to rectify the Fa on May 1, 2000. She was caught at a Beijing train station and was locked up in the toilet for one day. She refused to reveal her address when the police asked her and was thus imprisoned in the male cell for 8 hours. Later she wanted to go to the washroom. Only then was she transferred to the female cell. We know that the evil policeman sent her back to Shuangcheng Detention Center to be illegally imprisoned for 14 days. She was extorted 6,500 Yuan by Li Yueli of the Chaoyang Commune.
Lang Guizhi, female, 70-years-old, went to Beijing to rectify the Fa on May 1, 2000. She was arrested at a Beijing train station. Later she was sent back to Shuangcheng Detention Center and illegally detained for 14 days. Li Yueli of the Chaoyang Commune extorted 1,600 Yuan from her.
Xu Xiufang, female, 54-years-old, went to Beijing to rectify the Fa in June 2000. When she returned, the Chaoyang Town government authorities imprisoned her for 5 days. She was compelled to hand over 3,500 Yuan. Because she did not have the money, lawless persons from the Chaoyang Town government confiscated her house documents. She was extorted 500 Yuan by Wei Chong of Chaoyang Town government.
Han Entong, male, 40-years-old, was illegally locked up for 14 days in Shuangcheng Detention Center because he went to Beijing to validate Dafa on July 25, 1999. He was illegally detained for 72 days when he went to Beijing to validate Dafa again on July 1, 2000. He was extorted 2,000 Yuan by Zhang Guofu of the Shuangcheng Police Station. In 2001, people from Shuanagcheng's No. 2 Grain Station forced him to join the brainwashing class, where he was illegally detained for almost 2 months. He was extorted 500 Yuan by Zhang Yanxu of the No. 2 Grain Station.
He Fuzhe, male, 32-years-old, went to Beijing to make a peaceful appeal for Falun Gong on May 27, 2000. On Tiananmen Square, he ran into Wang Shengli, a Shuangcheng policeman who was stationed in Beijing. Policeman Wang brought him and other Dafa practitioners to the liaison office. They put handcuffs on him. He had to ask permission to go to the bathroom. On June 1, he was locked up in the death penalty criminal cell after being brought to Shuangcheng No. 2 Detention Center by town secretary Ma Kuangru, village official Zhang Qing and policeman Gao Yanbin. In the hell-like jail room, he suffered physical and mental tortures. He was released on June 19 after being extorted 180 Yuan for "boarding" expenses and 30 Yuan by Zhang Qing of Nongfeng Village. During the spring festival in 2001, he was illegally detained by the town government for over 70 days. During the imprisonment, he was forced to write a "guarantee letter," or else he would be sent to the so-called "law training session." He was extorted 2,000 Yuan by Zhao Guoqiang of Shuanghong Village of Nongfeng Town.
Zhang Jing, female, 30-years-old, was arrested by police near Tiananmen Square on December 18, 200 and sent to a detention center in Beijing. Four days later, individuals named Wang Shengli, Wang Yanlong and Yu Tinghui escorted her back to Shuangcheng No. 2 Detention Center. Yu Tinghui from Nongfeng Town extorted 2,000 Yuan from her.
Zhang Yahuan, female, 49-years-old, was made to swallow hallucinogen at Beijing's Haidian District Detention Center on December 18, 2000. If she refused, the medicine would be forcefully poured into her mouth. This happened until December 22. On December 23, she was escorted back to Shuangcheng Detention Center and imprisoned for 9 days. She was extorted 150 Yuan for "boarding" expenses. Yang Guoqiang of the police station even confiscated her remaining 92 Yuan and kept it for himself. Lawless person Zhao Jinguo of Linjiang Town government extorted 2,000 Yuan from her. On January 9, 2001, people from the village police station grabbed her and the rest of the Dafa practitioners to conduct a "class" for 72 days. She was once again extorted 2,000 Yuan by Zhao Jinguo.
Liu Yu, female, 21-years-old, has often been harassed at home by government officials since July 2, 1999. One day, Fu Chaoyang and Yuan Yongfu from the police station came to ransack her house without any reason and took away Falun Gong materials, books and videotapes. On November 3, 2000, she went with her parents to appeal for Falun Gong and validate Dafa in Beijing. On November 5, when they were watching the flag-raising ceremony at Tiananmen Square, they were tailed by local government officials to a place only 200 meters from the east side of Tiananmen Square. Her father was kicked and punched by Liu Yufeng, town government official. The whole family was brought to the liaison office. During the interrogation, Liu Yufeng ordered thug Chang to viciously kick Liu Yu twice and even insulted her family. The whole family was sent back to Shuangcheng Detention Center on November 7, 2000 and illegally detained for 15 days. They were extorted 130 Yuan of "boarding" expenses. Zhang Qing, an evil person of Nongfeng Village, also extorted 4,430 Yuan from them.
Han Feng, female, 60-years-old, went to Beijing to validate Dafa on February 26, 2000. She was brought back by Wang Shengli to Shuangcheng Detention Center and illegally detained for 33 days. She was extorted 240 Yuan for "boarding" expenses. Evil police officer Wang Shengli extorted 400 Yuan from her. Ma Guanru of Nongfeng Town government also forcefully extorted 2,000 Yuan from her. On November 3, 2000, she was illegally detained at Shuangcheng Detention Center for 5 months. Her body suffered immense devastation and inhuman treatment. Zhang Guofu from the police department extorted 1,000 Yuan from her. The detention center extorted 1,500 Yuan.
