Pursue Dafa with Perseverance

In order to bring the truth about Falun Dafa to the public, New York Dafa practitioners held several seminars titled ~{!0~}Conveying the Truth about Falun Gong~{!1~} over the past month. On August 20th one such seminar was held in Flushing. At the seminar, an elderly Chinese couple came and expressed their desire to learn Falun Gong. They appeared to be very down to earth and sincere. After talking with us for a while, the old lady told her story: She had learned Falun practitionersGong just four days before the prohibition and crackdown by the government. But she felt eager to be a student; she could not get Falun Gong out of her mind. Even though they had only been here in the States for a month, they had started looking for a practice site in the nearby parks. Finally their son helped them locate the Flushing practice site and found out about the upcoming seminar. Since they lived pretty far away from the practice site, they actually came the evening before just to make sure of the seminar location. This elderly couple paid close attention while learning the exercise movements. When asked if they had the book, they said that their son had already helped them download the whole ~{!0~}Zhuan Falun~{!1~} onto a thick stack of paper. I was deeply touched by their story. Their desire to seek out and pursue Dafa was not diminished by the malicious charges and slanders fabricated by the governmental authorities. That is why they continued their endeavor after coming to America. Dafa is the genesis of this universe, including our lives. The atrocities committed by those who sabotage Dafa and malign and ravage Dafa practitioners will only accelerate their own final destruction. Teacher Li said that it is never easy for each of us to obtain the Fa. I wish all practitioners would cherish what we have received, cultivate accordingly so others can live in a beautiful future, provide opportunities for predestined people to obtain Dafa, and help spread the truth about Dafa.
