On August 11, the ophthalmologist determined that Zhao Xins left eye had suffered irreparable damage to the nerve and retina due to trauma, causing her to lose eyesight in that eye. It is interesting to note that about a month ago when Zhao Xins family first arrived at the hospital, they were informed that the problem with Zhao Xins left eye was a result of complications after her spinal surgery (Some doctors, at that time, had already concluded that her eye injury was caused by the trauma inflicted to her eye). Yet, now they reverse their opinion and admit it was caused by trauma. Why couldnt they tell the truth from the beginning?
Zhao Xin already has full body paralysis, and now she has become blind in her left eye. This sad news caused a further blow and broke the hearts of her parents, who have already become exhausted from caring for her. When Zhao Xins sister heard this news, overtaken by her grief, she hid in a room and cried alone for a long time.
While in a seemingly hopeless situation, Zhao Xin still firmly believes in Dafa (the great law) and our teacher. She is strict with herself, and constantly keeps a practitioners standard. She bears neither hatred nor complaints, instead, she is thinking about spreading the Fa (the practice and principles of Falun Dafa). Once, several of her former classmates (who are not practitioners) made a special trip to see her. Reunions that were full of laughs and high spirits are only memories of the past. The person they see now is no longer the Zhao Xin, who was their bright and beautiful class leader; instead, they see the Zhao Xin, who is bedridden and enduring unbearable suffering day and night. Facing this cruel reality, her old friends are inconsolable. Upon seeing her former classmates, Zhao Xin motioned, with great difficulty, to her sister (because she cannot speak) to give materials introducing the truth of Falun Dafa to her old friends. What a great spirit! Even in her serious condition, she still thinks of telling the truth about Falun Dafa to everyone. She holds great compassion for everyone, and wants to give every predestined person a chance to learn more about the truth of Falun Dafa.
According to the doctor, it is a miracle that she is still alive today, considering the severity of her injuries. Especially that she has been taken off the ventilator, a feat which is impossible for others; and even freed herself from dependency upon bottled oxygen which is even more difficult. Dafa has already demonstrated its miraculous power through Zhao Xin. At the same time, because of her her righteous belief in Dafa, Zhao Xin was able to pass these tests of life and death. Perhaps there will be bigger tribulations awaiting Zhao Xin, but as Falun Dafa practitioners we would like to endure together with Zhao Xin, striving forward together until we complete our cultivation! We sincerely hope that Zhao Xin will soon regain her mobility and be able to stand up, practice the exercises and study the Fa with us. We believe people around the world will be inspired by her belief in Dafa and the powerful effect it has had on her serious condition.
