[China] Chinese practitioners are trying their best to spread materials about the facts of Falun Gong

The broadcasting of Falun Dafa World Radio has greatly encouraged practitioners. Although the Chinese communist regime is interfering the broadcast by noises, Chinese practitioners can still hear the voice of Falun Dafa World Radio. Practitioners recorded the broadcasting by tapes, and passed on them to practitioners in small towns and villages.

The practitioners are also trying their best to spread materials about the facts of Falun Gong to people around them. Although many people still do not know much about Falun Gong, they feel indignant about the regime's propaganda and the cruel persecutions against practitioners, which is just another "cultural revolution".

[Qingdao]

As July 22 is approaching, the Qingdao police arrested many practitioners, and detained them in the labor camps or street offices. Some practitioners' homes were ransacked.

The following people were known to have been sentenced to three years of forced labor without going through any legal procedures: Cui Weirui, Min Huirong, Du Huimin, Yuan Xuexian, Qiu Suqiao, Zou Songtao. Also, more than 20 practitioners were given criminal detention.

Despite of the harsh condition, many practitioners were using different means to tell people the facts about Falun Gong.

[Wuhan] The persecutions against Falun Gong practitioners in Jianghan District

At the beginning of February 2000, dozens of Falun Gong practitioners went Beijing to appeal, and they were detained or put under home arrests for several months. On May 13, those who refused to write the pledge of three no's (no appealing, no practice of exercises in public, and no gathering) were again forced to attend the so-called "Falun Gong hardcore members study group". From May 16 to the mid July, those practitioners who refused to write the pledge were not allowed to go home. In the study group, the practitioners were forced to undergo military training, during which practitioners suffered physical abuses such as beating and dragging by an officer and some other staff members.
