Practitioner Zhao Ming, male, 30 years old, a graduate student from the Department of Computer Science at the Trinity University in Ireland, went back to China last Christmas to visit his family. On January 6 of this year, he was arrested when appealing at the State Council's office of Appeal. Later his family bailed him out. However, the police suspended his passport, and the only way to get it back is for him to write a pledge promising that he will never oppose the Chinese anti-Falun Gong Policy. Mr. Zhao Ming has insisted on not writing the pledge. Without a passport, he cannot return to Ireland to finish his study. The local Irish Times has already written a report on him.
This March, Mr. Zhao went to Beijing again. Then on April 25, he went to the Tiananmen Square. After he saw some practitioners were arrested before they could even unfurl the banner, he and the other two practitioners moved to a bridge crosswalk to unfurl the banner facing the traffic and meanwhile they told the passerby about the truth of Falun Dafa.
Mr. Zhao Ming has been missing since May 13. Nobody knows his whereabouts. A practitioner saw a flyer posted on the wall of a police station that reads, "Seize Zhao Ming the head organizer of Falun Gong practitioners." As we can see, the police have gone to the extent that not even the overseas practitioners would be left alone.
Another two practitioners from Ireland, Yang Fang and Liu Feng also have had their passports suspended by the local police since last December. The police required them to write the pledge, which they refused to do. Therefore, they still have not regained their passports.
