Dallas -- Group Practice and Experience Sharing on the World Falun Dafa Day
On May 13, Falun Dafa practitioners in Dallas area congregated on the lawn in front of the public library of City of Richardson and celebrated the World Falun Dafa Day. About 20 practitioners participated in this activity. Group practice started at 10:00am in the morning. A banner of Falun Dafa was hung and posters set up of Master Li's portrait as well as illustrations of Falun Gong exercises around the exercise site. Then, they began practicing the five sets of Falun Gong exercises. Several practitioners spread introductory Falun Dafa flyers to nearby pedestrians. With the music of Falun Dafa playing in the background, the entire atmosphere was serene and peaceful. After group practice, the practitioners sat in a circle on the lawn to have a free discussion. Since practitioners in several practicing sites seldom gathered like this, they took this opportunity to introduce themselves and share their own cultivation experiences. Meanwhile, several practitioners introduced their experiences in promoting Dafa and proposed some suggestions for it. A mother who was visiting her daughter in Dallas talked about her personal experience of cultivation, which was very striking and inspiring. The experience sharing lasted until 3:00 in the afternoon. In this natural and harmonious atmosphere, all participants were able to benefit from the entire day's experience.

Houston -- Group Practice and Experience Sharing on the World Falun Dafa Day
May 13 was the first World Falun Dafa Day. In the morning, Falun Dafa practitioners in the area of Houston came to Memorial Park and held group practice of the Falun Gong exercises. After that, they shared their cultivation experiences in two groups, one in Chinese and the other in English. During the activity, they listened to a segment of Master Li's lecture in Chicago last year. Having experienced that hard time with the practitioners in China, they deeply felt the grand mercy of Master Li and the preciousness of the cultivation opportunity. A senior engineer from NASA was inspired to write a poem after he participated in this activity.
The practitioners were able to enjoy the experience sharing until noon. In the afternoon, they divided into four groups to promote Dafa. They conducted workshops or began the first day of 9-day classes in the Galveston Rosenberg Library, the Beaumont Public Library, and the two public libraries in Houston.
