Qianxu village, Koubu town
Xu Hongliang, male, 47 years old, was seized on October 6, 1999, taken to the courtyard of the town government, and then was maliciously beaten because he petitioned in Beijing. After being tortured for several days, he was sent to prison. However, the prison would not take him in because of the serious condition of his injuries. Later on, he was detained for 31 days. Also, Mr. Xu Hongliang's brother (a non-practitioner) was also seized and maliciously beaten, and their color TV was confiscated with no justifiable explanation.
Zhujia village, Koubu town
Zhao Hongbu, male, 35 years old, was seized in his home and taken to the courtyard of the town government on October 7, 1999, for being suspected of petitioning in Beijing. There he was cruelly beaten. Then, he was sent to a prison. However, the prison would not take him in because of the serious condition of his injuries. He was fined 10,000 Yuan.
Sun Laimei, 35 years old, was seized and taken back to the courtyard of the town government on October 6, 1999, and then was maliciously beaten because of petitioning in Beijing. He was then put into the detention center. His mother (a non-practitioner) was also seized and maliciously beaten. She was also ordered to hand in 4,000 Yuan to the town government.
Zhao Tianchun, male, 35 years old, was seized from his home and taken to the courtyard of the town government on October 8, 1999, for being suspected of petitioning in Beijing. Then, he was sent to the detention center. He was also fined 10,000 Yuan.
Du Lanxiang, female, 61 years old, was seized and taken back to the courtyard of the town government on October 6, 1999, and then was maliciously beaten because she petitioned in Beijing. Her 200 Yuan was confiscated without a receipt, and she was also fined 2,000 Yuan. The wheat stored at her home was also confiscated. Her son-in-law (a non-practitioner) was also beaten severely. His insurance cabinet at home was confiscated, and was also fined 1,700 Yuan.
Zhao Wenting, female, 16 years old, was seized and taken to the courtyard of the town government on October 8, 1999, and then was maliciously beaten simply because her parents were suspected of petitioning in Beijing. Her parents were unable to return to their home.
Yin Shouying, was seized in his home and taken to the courtyard of the town government, and then was maliciously beaten for being suspected of petitioning in Beijing. He was unable to work for more than 10 days after being released. His TV set and motorcycle were confiscated, and he was also fined 10,000 Yuan.
Xi'anchen village, Koubu town
Chen Hengzhong and Chen Jiucun, were seized in their home and taken to the courtyard of the town government on October 9, 1999, and then were maliciously beaten for being suspected of petitioning in Beijing. After being tortured, Mr. Chen Hengzhong's eyes were beaten to blue, his ears were ruptured, and the clothes on his back were torn. He was also fined 5,000 Yuan without a receipt. Both of them were unable to work for many days after being tortured.
Chen Hengzhi, was fined 3,000 Yuan for posting the truth materials about Falun Gong.
Koubu village, Koubu town
Xiao Jichen and his wife, both about 60 years old, were arrested on their trip for petitioning, and then were dtained for 15 days. The home of their son (a non-practitioner) was ransacked. What were grabbed included one four-cycle vehicle for agriculture, two bags of wool materials, and 2,500 kilograms of wheat.
Dong Liangzhi, female, 36 years old, was arrested on her trip for petitioning, and then was beaten up in turn by a number of people. She was also fined 5,000 Yuan.
Liu Shifeng, female, 65 years old, was fined 15,000 Yuan for petitioning in Beijing. The private property of her son (a non-practitioner), including 3000kg. of wheat, gas-condensation cylinder, DVD player, and TV set at his home, was all confiscated.
Chenban village, Koubu town
Wang Yuhong couple was fined 5,000Yuan for being suspected of visiting Beijing and distributing the truth materials about Falun Gong.
Meng Jinrong, female, 28 years old, was arrested on her trip for petitioning and was taken back to the town government, and was then maliciously beaten up. After that, she was detained for 15 days, and her home was ransacked. She was also fined 2,000 Yuan. The home of her parents (non-practitioners) was also ransacked.
Zhang peixing, male, 29, was caught on the way to appealing and returned to the town government. He was beaten up viciously, detained for 15 days, and fined 2,800 Yuan. His house was ransacked and smashed. His farm equipment was damaged. His sister and parents' (non-practitioners) houses were ransacked.
Liu aiyun, female, 33, was fined 5,000 Yuan because she was suspected of going to Beijing.
Lishuan village, Koubu town
Yuan xiuhua, female, 50, was fined 3,000 Yuan for distributing Dafa materials.
Wang xiugui, female, 65, was fined 3,000 Yuan for distributing Dafa materials.
Dongjia village, Koubu town
Dong guilan, female, 45, was caught on the way to appealing and returned to town government. She was beaten viciously and detained for half a month. Her TV set was plundered.

Their inhuman deeds:
Town head Wang gave the order to beat practitioners almost to death. It's o.k. as long as the practitioners were not dead. Secretary Zhao ronggui said: Beat them as long as they can still breathe. You are not loyal to the party if you don't beat heavily! The Secretary of the political and legal committee, Pang guangxiu, slapped Li lanxiang, a 61-year-old lady, on her face using the sole of his shoe. He also ordered his accomplices to have Dafa practitioners handcuffed to the tree and an iron chair and beaten up cruelly. Chief of Economic Supervision Office, Zhang fenguo, beat up Xu hongliang until Xu's ear drum was broken. Shi guangwu robbed cash 200 Yuan without giving a receipt. ( He also took away 1000 Yuan from Du lanxiang's son-in-law without giving a receipt last July).

Xiaoluzhuang village, Gaoliu town
Lu xinyuan and his mother were caught on the way to appealing and were returned to the town government. They were beaten up viciously. Lu was detained for a month and his mother 15 days. His father Lu yunming was fined 10,000 Yuan, expelled from the party, and his paycheck was stopped. All their food was stolen.
Dajiaoliu village, Gaoliu town
Lu qingde and his wife were caught appealing and were returned to the town government. They were detained for more than ten days and later for another month. Any valuable items at their house such as a three-wheel truck for farming, TV set, VCR etc. were robbed. Their daughter felt desperate and bumped her head against the wall and she bled all over.
Lu yunxue and his wife Li xiuxiang went to Beijing to appeal. They were caught and returned to the town government and were beaten up brutally. Li xiuxiang was handcuffed and forced to walk along the street on exhibit. Their house was ransacked. Li's brothers were fined for helping them plant wheat. They were sent home after being detained for a month. They were not allowed to go out and were under the supervision of security.
The sister-in-law of Li xiuxiang went to Beijing to appeal. She was caught and returned to the town government and was beaten up. All the food in her house was robbed. She was fined 10,000 Yuan and detained for 15 days.
Xiaxin village, Zhenmu town
Wang sulan, Wang yufeng and Xia changyuan went to appeal and were caught and returned to the town government. They were beaten up brutally. The town government announced: pay 5,000 Yuan if you don't want to go to a labor camp. Pay at least 3,000 Yuan if you are really poor.
