Dear Mr. President:

As a non-Chinese Falun Dafa practitioner in Canada, my heart is overwhelmed with gratitude to our Chinese brothers and sisters living in Canada, who have introduced us to Falun Dafa.

In the process of our group practice and discussions, we have come to know more deeply of a most amiable, highly intelligent, persevering and sincere people originating from the enduring depth of tradition, ancient wisdom and venerable culture of China.

What has attracted us to Falun Dafa:

  1. The great moral principles and way of life that originated from the ancient Buddhist and Taoist philosophies and the enlightenment of ancient sages;
  2. the non-commercial, not-for-profit spreading of Falun Dafa not even accepting donations;
  3. the compassion of volunteers who make it available free of charge to all of human civilization seeking to upgrade their moral nature (xingxing)
  4. its tenets of non-violence and non-interference in politics and political institutions;
  5. its impact on crime prevention through adherence to Zhen, Shan, Ren;
  6. its beneficial impact on the family and society through increasing our levels of tolerance and forbearance;
  7. its economic benefits brought about by increased productivity (owing to the commitment of practitioners to Zhen, Shan, Ren);
  8. the honesty and integrity that it brings to the work-place as in other activities of life of the practitioners; and
  9. the fact that Falun Dafa does not allow temples, worship or discrimination.

Falun Dafa has changed our lives so positively through our commitment to the principles of Zhen, Shan, Ren that we feel it is highly important to spread the Dafa "The Great Way" for all citizens of the world to benefit from. We sincerely believe this is all the more important since the world is fast heading towards a conflagration--there are numerous hot spots ready to erupt--and has to be brought back from the precipice of destruction.

What we see in this for the Chinese Republic and its beloved People:

  1. International gratitude for the Great People of China and the People's Republic;
  2. Benefits, such as mental health, spiritual healing and energized living as well as economic benefits that we briefly listed.

What we request of you as the President of China:

  1. Please set up parks and facilities where millions of non-Chinese practitioners of Falun Dafa, who long to visit the ancient land, can practice Falun Dafa in its place of introduction.
  2. Please set aside a time of day for the international visitors to practice the meditative exercises in Tianamen Square, near the Great Wall of China and other places of importance and renown, of course, as suited to the convenience of public functionality and circumstances in your great country.
  3. Please withdraw the ruling that banned Falun Gong and kindly allow people to practice freely so that they can dedicate themselves to the principles of Zhen, Shan, Ren.
  4. Please seek to know what Falun Dafa (Falun Gong) really stands for. Please instruct your law enforcement officers to treat the Falun Dafa practitioners as no less honourable citizens of the Republic as others. Please release and rehabilitate those who are incarcerated and instruct your police officials to stop any more prosecution of Falun Dafa practitioners.

What we seek to do internationally:

  1. Widely spread Falun Dafa in every country, so that people all over the world can derive the benefits of improving the mind, body and spirit by practicing the gentle meditative movements and studying the teachings of Master Li Honghzi.
  2. Facilitate non-Chinese Falun Dafa practitioners to achieve their earnest ambition of learning the great Chinese language.
  3. Arrange for groups of our international Falun Dafa practitioners to visit and practice Falun Dafa in the country of ancient wisdom and in the place of its generation--China.
  4. Invite high-ranking officials from the Chinese Embassies, High Commissions and Government to participate as Guests of Honour and speak at important Falun Dafa Experience Sharing Conferences that we hold all over the world and at the Annual Falun Dafa Day celebrated all over the world.

We look forward to your kind response. A positive response will be shared with overwhelming joy among the international practitioners. We can then communicate with your local tourist information officers to arrange our visits to your great country to:

  • convey our gratitude to the Government of the People's Republic;
  • convey our personal Greetings to your great people; and
  • practice Falun Dafa in the country of ancient wisdom.
