Practitioners Arrested For Telling the Truth about Falun Gong to Communist Party's Tai'an City Committee of Shandong Province

Mr. Yang Chengyuan, 62 years old, retired from Tai'an City Food Company, was arrested twice by Tai'an City Bureau of Public Security because he continued practicing Falun Dafa. He was sentenced to three years in a labor camp, but was released because he disqualified physically to serve.

Mr. Li Haomai, 63 years old, Associate Professor of Tai'an Normal College used to be the leader of People's Alliance of Tai'an Division. Because he kept practicing Falun Dafa and went to Beijing to Appeal for Dafa, he was monitored two months in a "learning class", put in detention once, and incarcerated twice in the City detention center.

In October of this year, during the violent arrest of Falun Dafa students, Mr. Yang and Mr. Li both were arrested from their homes without cause. They were locked up for one month.

On the morning of November 27th, three days after being released from the detention center, Mr. Yang and Mr. Li sent some material to the Bureau of Public Security of Tai'an District, in order to reveal the truth to people. That same afternoon, they went to City Hall to send Dafa material to the secretary of the Communist Party Tai'an City Committee, Mr. Mo Zhenkui. A police vehicle stopped them. Three policemen took them away to be interrogated in Daizongfang police station of Tai'an City; they were surrounded by more than twenty policemen. Deputy Zhao of District Bureau of Public Security shouted:" Hand cuff them! Send them to the detention center!" Mr. Yang held high the Constitution and spoke sternly:" The Constitution of the People's Republic of China is here. We are using our rightful channel to explain the truth. The Constitution gives us the right. We committed no wrong. Why do you want to handcuff us?" The righteous power from his words shook everyone. None of the police dared to move. One young police officer came close to them and said:" This Constitution is no longer in use." Mr. Yang replied:" Would you please write down what you just said?" That police officer dared not to write, but hid to the side quietly. Mr. Yang and Mr. Li were then taken to prison, and their homes were searched by the police.

The morning of November 28^th, Mr. Yang and Mr. Li were sent to a detention center. Mr. Yang was released again because of physical disqualification. Mr. Li is still in detention and he is on a hunger strike.

(More News) On November 22^nd, Falun Dafa Student Ma Anying and Song Qi of Tai'an City held high a banner of "Falun Dafa is Righteous" as they walked calmly on the street of Tai'an City. Many people witnessed this magnificent move with their eyes wide open. They were telling people: "Falun Dafa is a great Law of the universe. Falun Dafa is the hope of people. Falun Dafa is shaking the evil and saving the good ones. Falun Dafa is harmonizing all sentient beings in the universe. Falun Dafa is a righteous law that shall never perish." After making a huge circle in the city, they stopped at the front of City First People's hospital. They were holding high the banner until arrested by the district police. On November 28^th, Ms. Ma was sent to the detention center.
