The Second "Falun Dafa Day" in Australia Was Celebrated in Campton

[Sydney] Saturday, December 9, greeted "Falun Dafa Day" celebration in a Park in Campbelltown. Nearly 100 practitioners from Sydney and other areas came to take part in this celebration. The banner reading "Celebrate Falun Dafa Day" at the ceremony was very eye-catching. A huge model of the book Zhuan Falun was placed on top of a pink lotus tray. The Dafa music, Pudu and Jishi, were heard over the entire park. The ceremony was really solemn and enthusiastic, which strongly reminded us of the enormous benevolence that Teacher has shown to us.

"Falun Dafa Day" invited the Mayor of Campbelltown to cut the ribbon at the ceremony and to give a speech. The Mayor expressed his concern about the human rights issue. A congressman who wasn't able to be present said in his letter, "I know that Falun Gong practitioners are being persecuted in China and I think this persecution is a severe trampling of human rights. I support your freedom to practice your own belief." Several Western practitioners shared their cultivation experience with everyone and they called on the Australian government and all kind-hearted people to pay attention to the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in China and to help suffocate the evil that is the Chinese government's persecution with every possible means. Later, 16 practitioners in white T-shirts printed with "Truthfulness, Benevolence and Forbearance" demonstrated Dafa exercises.

During the ceremony, many local residents came to watch the picture exhibition and inquire about the practice sites, and they also expressed their deepest sympathy to practitioners. Practitioners explained the truth about Falun Gong to people with great patience, thus making it possible for more people to hear and learn Dafa.
