-- Part One
There is a fellow worker in my workplace whose father was a Falun Dafa practitioner. She was fine with her father's approach of taking everything lightly, but she had a problem with his not taking any medication. Her father became afraid when Falun Dafa was labeled as an XX by the government. As a result, he stopped his cultivation practice and died of lung cancer in July of this year.
I expressed my sympathy and concern about her loss while chatting with her, and I explained to her the truth about Falun Dafa. I explained that the Falun Dafa practitioners strive to be good people, and do not engage in politics. She really listened to me. Later on, I sensed that she had changed. She once said to me: "Had I known what Falun Dafa was, I would have insisted that my father keep practicing it, and he would not have died." She continued: "I know that you are a good person with a superb work ethic, and you are so willing to help others in need. I really regret not knowing much about Falun Dafa before." Since that time, I have given her copies of Falun Dafa materials whenever I have them available. A few days ago, she said to me: "Don't forget to give me any Falun Dafa material you have. I want to read more about it so that the government won't pull the wool over my eyes anymore."
-- Part Two
There are also two senior employees in my workplace who had little understanding of Falun Dafa at the beginning. After watching the government programs against Falun Gong on TV, they were very skeptical and did not feel comfortable with the propaganda. I tried to talk to them about this issue during breaks at work. I told them how my attitude toward my job changed and how my health improved after practicing Falun Dafa. I tried to explain to them the truth about the Dafa whenever they raised a question. When I sensed the appropriate time to provide them with more information, I gave them the booklet, Falun Dafa, the True Story, to read. They later told me that they did not know too much about the Dafa before reading the booklet, and they were very shocked with what they learned after reading it. They also said: "The more we read it, the better we can tell who is good and who is bad. Now we know that you are the ones who have been telling the truth!"
-- Part Three
I have a good friend who loves to make new friends. She is outgoing, and gets along well with almost anyone. She always talks among her friends about how good Falun Dafa is and what good people the practitioners are. Whenever someone asks her why she does not practice Falun Gong since she thinks it's so good, she always says: "I want to, but I have way too many flaws, such as drinking and smoking, and I'm afraid that I would bring shame on Falun Gong."
One day, several police officers, who were friends of hers, invited her to have dinner with them. Her police friends had a different view of Falun Gong and did not believe that Falun Gong was good. My friend asked the officers why they thought that Falun Gong was not good. They answered: "We're not saying that Falun Gong is fundamentally not good. It's not good because practitioners are not giving us a moment's rest!" My friend then began sharing the truth about Falun Dafa, as she understands it, to the police officers. She also told them the principle of "good being rewarded with good, and evil with evil," and thus, asked them not to abuse the practitioners either physically or verbally. One of the officers, who is the bureau's deputy sheriff, was silent upon hearing her words. My friend always tells me that she knows the truth even though she is not a practitioner, and that she will tell everybody she knows that Falun Gong is good!
