My wife is Chen Yuqing (alias), 48 years old. She was a senior teacher at a primary school in Chongqing City, Sichuan Province. Her superiors often praised her for her devoted and conscientious work. Out of her responsibility to the graduates, she always volunteered to give them free make-up lessons, after receiving approval from their parents and school leaders.
During this year's summer vacation, Chen Yuqing and her friends promoted Falun Dafa to the general public and distributed materials that explained the true facts about Falun Dafa. The local police discovered them and took them into custody. Some time ago, the local People's Procurator issued an approval to arrest them under the charge of "using an evil religious organization to obstruct the implementation of the law." My wife was also dismissed from her post at school.
Chen Yuqing was illegally detained for nearly 3 months. I was not allowed to visit her, even though I am her husband. It is hard for me to understand. Is this the action of a highly just and lawful socialist system? What my wife promoted to others was all from her own personal experiences. She told people the truth about Falun Dafa and the cultivation of "Zhen-Shan-Ren (Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance)." Any society and country can only have everything to gain from it, but nothing to lose. Only when a person has a sound body can he make a greater contribution to the country and the people. Can this be counted as obstructing the implementation of the country's law?
