[Shenzhen, Guangdong Province] Police escalate the persecution of Falun Gong
On Nov. 3rd, some Falun Gong practitioners spread material clarifying the truth about Falun Gong from Saige Mansion, the tallest building in Shenzhen, causing the public security officers to become terribly frightened. According to reliable sources, this large-scale act of Shenzhen public security officers is out of the ordinary because Jiang Zemin is coming to Shenzhen the middle of this month to attend the celebration of the 20th anniversary of Shenzhen City's reform and opening, which will last several hours. Therefore, strong police forces have been dispatched to carry out a new round of persecution against Dafa practitioners. Many Dafa practitioners have been illegally taken away and their homes have been ransacked. This persecution is still going on.
The public security officers are aiming at intensifying the persecution against Falun Gong in Shenzhen before the celebration. All arrested practitioners will be punished under the charge of "political crime." At present, the number of armed policemen has increased, and security is tight. We hope that people all over the world will pay attention to this situation, and practitioners will mind their safety.
[Laiyang City, Shandong Province] Police confiscate property of practitioners' relatives
Since October, Dafa practitioners in Laiyang City of Shandong Province have been arrested on a large scale, and many practitioners are now homeless. While the government and the public security officers are arresting Dafa practitioners everywhere, they also ceaselessly harass the relatives and family members of Dafa practitioners. On Oct. 29th, the fourth police team of Laiyang Public Security Bureau forcibly ransacked the homes of Dafa practitioner Hua Zeqing's eldest sister, Hua Zehong, second eldest sister, Hua Zejuan, and younger brother, Hua Zelei. (All three of them do not practiced Falun Gong), They ransacked their private company as well. Hua's eldest sister 's husband Xin Mingwei, who is not a practitioner, firmly resisted the evil deeds of the public security officers. As a result, all four people were beaten by the police, Wang Fei, Liu Jiwei etc. Hua Zehong, Hua Zejuan and Xin Mingwei were sent to the Laiyang Detention Center under the charge of obstructing public affairs and detained for a month. After Hua's younger brother, Hua Zelei was beaten, he ran away to protect himself. There were many surrounding people who saw the public security officers arrogantly fire shots towards the sky. At present, the public security officers are still pursuing Hua Zelei. To avoid being arrested by the police, Dafa practitioner Hua Zeqing had to stay away from her home, so her whereabouts remain unknown. Guliu Branch of Laiyang Public Security Bureau has detained her husband Wang Chen so as to trick Hua into returning home.
[Beijing] Beijing public security officers forcibly administer injections to arrested Dafa practitioners
Recently Song Weizhen (alias), a practitioner from Laiyang, Shangdong, Province was sent to Qinghe Police Station of Haidian District, Beijing after being arrested by Tiananmen police substation because he went to Beijing to appeal. At that time, there were already 17 Dafa practitioners there, who hadn't reported their names. The police pushed Dafa practitioners down to the ground, and administered injections (substance unknown) to their legs. After taking the shots, all the Dafa practitioners felt severely painful in their whole bodies, their hands and feet became numb, and they were unable to move about, etc. One month later, Song Weizhen still felt painful in his whole body and could not take care of himself. We urgently appeal to peace organizations worldwide and all citizen of the world to help stop the brutal persecution of Dafa practitioners in China.

[Langfang, Hebei Province] Practitioner sentenced to 5 years
Guo Xiaohui, an employee of Hebei Langfang Piping Science Research Institute was detained for almost one month this June because she handed the flyer of "All kind-hearted people: please come to know about Falun Gong" to the secretary of her work unit. She was fired after being released. During the National Day holidays, she went to Tiananmen to validate Dafa and was arrested. She was sentenced to five years.
Qiu Ke, a teacher of Hebei Langfang Northern China Aerospace Industry Institute was sentenced to three years.
[Laiyang, Shandong Province]
A former assistant of Laiyang practice center, Liao Weixing's wife, Dafa practitioner Liu Aili was forcibly arrested from her home on Oct. 23rd by police of Laiyang Western Police District, leaving her 14-year-old daughter unattended at home. Liao didn't return home when he saw a 110 police vehicle parked outside his home. On 24th, Liao's work unit, China Construction Bank Laiyang Branch, asked for his father and claimed that they merely wanted to make some inquiries. As a result, Liao disappeared. It was learned, afterwards, that Liao had been sent to the Laiyang Detention Center by the security officers of his work unit.
[Changchun, Jilin Province] Changchun practitioners go to Tiananmen Square
On Oct.26, a number of Changchun practitioners unfurled homemade banners at Tiananmen Square. Some practitioners were beaten in the Square or at the Public Security Bureau.. Some practitioners were unable to unfurl the banners before they were arrested, yet they resourcefully returned from the Public Security Bureau afterwards. They went to unfurl the banners to express their wish the next day. After being arrested when they successfully expressed their wish, some practitioners managed to return to Changchun. They shared their experience with other practitioner.
At present, more and more people in Changchun know the truth. After knowing the truth, some people in charge of the residential districts were very kind to practitioner. Many practitioners handed material to the cadres of their work units in person. After reading the materials, they not only showed their understanding, but also informed the practitioners to take care of their safety.
[Pengzhou, Sichuan Province] The persecution experience of some Falun Gong practitioners
My wife and I are both Falun Gong practitioners in Pengzhou, Sichuan Province. In October 1999, we went to Beijing to appeal and were detained for 15 days. After we returned home, the local government forced us to pay a fine of about 10,000 Yuan RMB. Then, on the night of January 7, 2000, they took us to the government office and beat us because we refused to give up practicing Falun Gong.
The next morning, they once again asked us to pay the fine, and I told them that we didn't have that much money. They then pawned my belongings worth about 1,000 Yuan RMB. They forced us into labor and each of us was forced to pay 350 Yuan RMB 'tuition' although in fact we were working like slaves everyday.
After I returned home, my child asked me why they arrested and beat kind people and didn't arrest bad people. Although the government treated us this way, we still keep in mind Teacher's words that we should be nice to other people. However, we also know that "Good will be rewarded with good and evil with evil".
Wei Ping (alias) is an employee of a factory in Pengzhou city. He went to Beijing to appeal the first time in September 1999. After he returned he was detained in the factory. He managed to escape from the factory in November 1999 and went to Beijing for the second time, accompanied by his wife and his sister. He worked in Beijing for 3 months after he arrived in Beijing. He went to Tiananmen Square to safeguard Fa in March 2000 and was arrested and sent back to Pengzhou. After 20 days detention he was sent to Zizhong labor camp. He was released in October 2000 and recently was sent to a mental hospital by his factory for fear that he, being an 'organizer,' will go to Beijing again.
Lu Boqing (alias), 44-year-old, was beaten badly by the police because he went to Beijing. After he returned home, he was beaten by the local government and was later detained in Pengzhou Detention Center for one month. In addition, he was fined 1200 Yuan RMB. On June 20, 2000, he was working at home when he was summoned to the local government and detained there for over one month. During this period, he was brutally beaten into a coma.
Two female practitioners, 15-year-old Zhang Meilin (alias) and 37-year-old Liu Zhi (alias), were forced to cut grass and repair the road, and were beaten up just because they said they want to be good people. Wang Guoli (alias), 55-year-old, was beaten brutally after he was sent back from his appeal in 1999. Later he was detained for 30 days and fined 4,000 Yuan RMB. On June 20, he was summoned to the village to do forced labor work of cutting grass and repairing the road for 35 days. In this period of time, he was beaten into a coma at one time and his teeth fell out because of the beating.
Rao Baizhen (alias), 45-years-old, was arrested and sent back to the village when she shared a cultivation experience with fellow practitioners on Pengzhou Square.
Wu Panzhou (alias) and his wife were beaten by village officials because they insisted on practicing Falun Gong. They were black and blue all over their bodies. There were bruises everywhere in their bodies. Chen Shufang (alias), a 56-year-old female practitioner, received the same treatment.
Chen Ping (alias), a 34-year-old female practitioner who insisted on practicing Falun Gong at home, was summoned to the village for a beating and later was forced to cut grass. She was fined 500 Yuan RMB and further punished by being forced to kneel down on the ground for a long time (Note: It is a common punishment in China to force somebody to kneel down, with two feet levelly touching the ground, for a long time/by translator). Her husband was detained for 15 days because of his spreading Dafa. After he got back to the village, he was forced to do forced labor work of cutting grass and also punished by being forced to kneel down for a long time.
Chen Zaixiang (alias), a 66-year-old female practitioner, and other 10 fellow practitioners were beaten up, forced to kneel down for a long time and detained because they practiced Dafa, shared cultivation experiences and spread Dafa. They were also forced to pay fines ranging from 1000 to 5000 Yuan RMB and to cut grass and repair the road.
[Weifang, Shandong Province] The persecution experienced by Falun Gong practitioners in Weifang, Shandong Province
Wang Zhen is a retired worker of Weifang Diesel Oil Company. On the night of October 26, 10 people from Weizhoulu police station in Kuiwen District besieged Wang's home. Two people jumped over the wall, broke into her home and took her away. It was said that she was taken to Xiashan Reservoir branch for forced transformation. Her son, Zhang Chao, was sent to labor camp early in May and was detained in the Wangcun district detention center in Zibo City. No one is allowed to visit him or send him clothes.
Zhang Daozhong is a native of Jinmazhuang in Weifang city. On the night of October 25, a bunch of people from Dongminglu police station and Xincheng street office broke into his home and took him away. Zhang did not want to be taken away and tried to escape by jumping from the wall.. Cai Jinshan and his men, were really brutal and didn't have a bit of human nature. They had persecuted many practitioners in this area.
Lou Hongmei, from Dongguan of Kuiwen District in Weifang city, is the wife of Li Tianmin. She was detained twice. She went to Beijing to appeal on October 1 and was detained again. During her detention, she was forced to sit in an iron chair. On October 24, she was sent to Jinan for 3 years' forced labor education. Her husband, Li Tianmin, was sentenced to jail for 4 years in February. Their parent, who was over 70-year-old, was left unattended at home. The police also cut off their home phone line.
Sun Xiaomei is a kindergarten teacher. Her mother Zhou Chunmei and her sister Sun Xiaobai were forced to commit suicide at home in last July. She has been under surveillance since then. On October 30, she was taken away from home by Wecheng District police station. Her child, Tengteng, was left unattended (she is divorced). She is now detained in the Chengguan detention center.
On the afternoon of October 25, Pang Liyan from Beiyuanjieban of Kuiwen District, the head of the police station (name not available), the vice head, Qiu Yuping, and Zhang Lanqin from Wolongxiweihui followed the instructions from the higher order and detained many practitioners illegally. At 3:30 pm on the afternoon of October 28, they transferred the detained practitioners to Sanliangmiao village in Beiyuanjieban. The village officials Yu Jigui and Pei Zhongcheng, along with 5 other people, threw 14 practitioners into a dark room with an area of less than 10 square meters. Now 7 days have passed and these practitioners are still being detained. This village is the transformation center set up by Beiyuanjieban. They had detained practitioners unlawfully many times since July 19, 1999. They beat practitioners and physically punished them by forcing them to stand in the freezing cold (minus 14 degrees centigrade) for 40 minutes. They also ransacked practitioners' homes, shut down their residential electricity for 11 months, and punished practitioners with huge fines (ranging from 2000 to 5000 Yuan RMB). The residents of the village were indignant at their wickedness.
[Weifang] Record of evil deeds of the police in Weifang, Shandong province
In order to crackdown on Falun Gong, the higher authorities specifically approved 10 job openings for section chief level cadres, and Weifang government added five more openings to enhance this effort. Now all persons in charge of Falun Gong are paid by higher authorities. After a conference convened by the city government on the afternoon of October 25, some committees of residents took Falun Gong practitioners away from their homes by force, and others while they were walking on streets.
The superintendent of the detention center of Kuiwen district in Weifang has a last name that is Sun. He is about 40 years old and was the former director of the Falun Gong office of Kuiwen district. He persecuted Dafa practitioners detained here with brutality, seriously blemishing the reputation of law enforcement police of the nation and trampling the sanctity of the laws of the nation.
After October 1, many innocent Dafa practitioners were detained and over 30 of them were detained at the detention center of Kuiwen district. Some practitioners went on a hunger strike. Sun directed his men to force-feed them by inserting tubes into their throats. In a few days Sun and his lackey force-fed 8 practitioners. He pulled practitioners outdoors by their hair and handcuffed them to iron chairs. He ordered criminal inmates to twist practitioners' arms and pull their hair to keep them from moving, and then the criminal inmates forcefully inserted feeding tubes into their throats, sometimes causing them to bleed. The screams of the practitioners were heart wrenching. If practitioners argued with them, they would beat practitioners up. Sun would beat practitioners by himself. Among the practitioners, Qiao Yongping and Li Suqin were force-fed several times unsuccessfully and thus were handcuffed to pillars as punishment. Practitioner Gao Liqiu was handcuffed to an iron chair.
Sun and his hatchet men would beat the so-called "insubordinate" Dafa practitioners up. A male practitioner whose last name is Tan was beaten to such a degree that his face was black and blue. Two other practitioners were handcuffed to pillars for an extended period after being severely beaten up.
Once Sun punched and kicked a practitioner with full force while there were many people around watching, and, at the same time, he shouted like a villain: "Have I beaten you?"
The evil person Sun was promoted to be the superintendent for his persecuting Dafa practitioners in such a way.
The corrupted Xu Dadui, Li Puping, Yu XX of the second section of Weicheng Substation of Weifang Police Station were the chief prosecutors of Falun Gong practitioners in Weicheng district. They not only incited street officers to beat practitioners and impose fines on them, but also arrested practitioners, searched their homes and monitored their home phone calls and activities. Their influence was the main factor that practitioners in Weifang were persecuted so severely.
Wang Lihong, 24 years old, was a warden of detention center of Kuiwen district of Weifang. She frequently beat, scolded, handcuffed and shocked practitioners with electricity. She was the most vicious warden at this detention center.
[Mainland] Practitioners, please be aware of being tailed by secret agents
A letter from fellow practitioners in China said that a fellow practitioner returning from Beijing was tailed after trying to contact them and this practitioner was not aware that he or she was deliberately released by police as a bait to trap more practitioners. So fellow practitioners, including those released from Beijing, please be careful not to let evil exploit an advantage.
[Mainland] It is suggested to call the "censure hotline" to snuff out the evil
Jiang Zemin deprives the people of the right of freedom of speech and only allows people to say what he likes to hear in the places such as "censure hotlines." We can team up with righteous and virtuous people around us to disclose the evil nature of Jiang Zemin. We can clarify the truth, advise the people to be kind and snuff out the evil through censure hotlines. Fellow practitioners in China, please help collect the phone numbers of these censure hotlines and publicize them. These censure hotlines are specifically adopted to suppress the kind people. Publicizing them is exposing evil in itself. In addition, we can safely call these numbers more often in our spare time.
In particular, when making the calls, we hope the callers (especially those in China) pay attention to protect their identities and their personal safety. After making the calls, the practitioners in China may dial a few random numbers to clear the initially dialed number to prevent the plainclothes and secret agents tracking them down; it is especially important to do so after calling fellow practitioners. It is also a good practice to use public phones to call the censure hotlines of other cities.
[North America] Call the government of Lanzi village in Laiyang, Shandong province
After I read the report from Minghui website about the brutal persecution of Dafa practitioners of the government of Lanzi village in Laiyang, Shandong province, I immediately called the home of Yu Hongwen at 086-535-7213618, the politics and law commissioner of the village government. There was nobody answering the call. I then called the village government at 086-535-7520008 and the operator answered the call. I asked him to notify Yu Hongwen and other thugs that their brutal crimes have been exposed in the international community, and they cannot escape the punishment for the crimes they have committed. The operator hung up the phone in a flurry.
A few notes:
1. The so-called "transform class for Falun Gong practitioners" at the training center for motorcycle driving in Laiyang was set up by some people from the Police Station, Chengxiang Substation and Security Bureau led by Shen Jianhua, the deputy director general of Judicial Bureau of Laiyang.
2. Beginning July 22 of 1999, a group of government personnel led by Wang Xuegong, the secretary-general of Laiyang, stayed at Longfeng Hotel in Beijing to arrest the Falun Gong practitioners from Laiyang who went to Beijing to appeal. After August 2000, they moved to the rest house of Colored Metal Corporation in Beijing to continue this evil action.
3. Dong Linxian of political security section of the police station of Laiyang, Shandong province frequently beat up Dafa practitioners without reason. Recently Dong was sent to hospital for hepatitis and diabetes.
