Early on the morning of October 15, we practiced the standing and sitting exercises in the quiet Seashore Park as usual. Upon completion, one of the practitioners noticed the bikes that we rode to the exercise site and said, "The teacher told us about "Using at Will," so why don't we decorate the bikes and ride them around to distribute some materials?" Everyone gladly agreed.
Thus, we all went to one of the practitioners' home and put a little yellow flag on each bike. At the end, we were one flag short. We felt that this was an arrangement made by the teacher because for some reason, one practitioner just happened to bring his new camera with him. Naturally, he became the photographer to record that day's HongFa (Fa-Promoting) activity.
It was a simple and yet impressive bicycle team. We rode down the wide sidewalk along with Dafa (great law of the universe) music and caught many curious eyes. There were HongFa materials in Chinese, Japanese and English in the baskets of every practitioner's bike. We passed these materials out along the way. Usually if we stand around distributing the materials, most Japanese will simply rush by us--maybe it's because their lives are too fast paced. But this time we grabbed their attention. Many of them looked with curiosity at the rows of little yellow flags, and they gladly accepted the materials and read them on the spot. Some people missed the materials at the front of the bike team, but still got them from the trailing practitioners.
In this HongFa activity, we passed by 3 tram stops and crossed 2 railway lines and 2 big parks. At last we came to the busiest shopping street in Chiba and continued to distribute the materials while on our bikes. An old Japanese gentleman saw the little yellow flag and became very excited. He seemed to be too impatient to wait and quickly snatched the materials out of our hands as we were handing them out. This action showed us that many everyday people are still hoping to hear about the Fa and set their places in the new universe, and that our HongFa efforts still fall far short of this requirement. One Japanese man stared at our yellow flags as he was working. One practitioner handed him a flyer and he started to read it immediately. All of a sudden he said, "Are you guys all right?" The practitioner didn't understand what he meant at first. He then explained himself immediately, "It is banned in China!" When the practitioner nodded, he said to us, "You guys keep it up!" During this trip, many Japanese people kindly told us to keep up what we were doing. We realized that we should put out more effort and be more diligent in our cultivation in order to function more efficiently as particles in Dafa at this sacred moment of "Helping the Teacher in this human world." Some Japanese kept reciting the words on the little flags, "Zhen, Shan, Ren," the Law of the universe was deeply touching their lives. While distributing the materials, a practitioner who is also a high-school senior focused only on people's hands instead of their faces. She didn't look up until she heard someone calling her name in Japanese: it was her schoolteacher. They both smiled. She thought that maybe it's time for more schoolteachers to know Dafa. On our way home, a taxi driver who had accepted our materials stopped his conversation with his friend and told his friend, "Go get it, they are back!" His friend reached out for our handouts.
During this HongFa activity, one little girl distributed the most material. People always liked to get the materials from her when they passed by her. At first we didn't know the reason, then we realized that the cassette player in the basket of her bike was playing the music of PuDu-JiShi (Dafa music, "Salvation to All" and "Help the World"). It was the power of Dafa that was touching people's true origin, and the compassion of the teacher was awakening the true nature of the people. Practitioners all agreed that everyone should bring the PuDu-JiShi music to future HongFa activities so that more people can get to know Falun Dafa! In the bike team, a lady in her 60's always rode at the front but still looked energetic. When other practitioners asked her if she was tired, she replied with a simple "No."
This HongFa trip ended successfully and the result was beyond our expectations. We have handed out all of the Japanese materials in addition to many Chinese and English materials.
Little yellow flags flew in the breeze along the way and Dafa music resonated between heaven and earth. The compassion of our teacher and the Magic of Dafa created a special scene in this world. With their curious gazes and warm greetings, people were also setting their places in the future!
