When the train arrived at Gongzhu Lin station, I unintentionally looked outside the window, and happened to see three words "Gongzhu Lin" (Note: Gongzhu Lin is Master Li's hometown). And the song "Joyous hometown" suddenly began playing in the carriage. I could not refrain from tears.
When I arrived in Changchun, at the beginning my heart was occupied by fear and of thinking that I have distributed several hundred flyers here already. I wanted to stay at home for a month and then make a decision later. Through experience sharing with others I understand that it is not wrong to avoid evil with wisdom, but this does not mean I should seldom contact others after moving to a different place and do nothing to clarify the truth. We should connect ourselves with Dafa all the time and play a role as a particle of Dafa no matter where we go. I saw a police car for the first time when I distributed the materials, and came across a police car again after I finished at one place; even on some remote street I would come across a police car. I understood that this indicated my fear mentality was too strong. I should be careful but not fearful. I should put down fear and my behavior should be open and above board. I finished distributing 200 copies of materials under the protection of police cars during the entire morning. A lot of my mentality of fear was removed.
In Changchun, everyone from children to elderly people takes positive action to clarify the truth. Many of them save money to work for Dafa even under extremely difficult living situations. A young girl who had only studied Falun Dafa for two months handed out materials to people in person. A 70 year-old man has been busy distributing materials almost every day, and even posts and distributes them until midnight.
My biggest experience is not how people think I will improve but how we can improve all together. One practitioner told me: We should think of the entity as whole when we clarify the truth; it does not matter how many hundreds of materials we send out, although, of course, this is great too. However, we should communicate with others and encourage more people to step out; help those who have a fear mentality to start by daring to take one or two copies to post outside, and to appeal peacefully and do even better. As soon as "Serious Teachings" was published, it evoked great repercussions [from the authorities]. So we gather together to study Fa and exchange experiences. In two hours, many people changed their thinking. After studying this article more carefully, we decided to take positive action to clarify the truth.
When I talked with others in Changchun, they often told me stories about Teacher with tears in their eyes. I remember they told me this short story: When Teacher saw a practitioner leave a half bowl of food on the table unfinished, in order to teach us, Teacher ate the unfinished food. What a great Teacher!
Here in Changchun many common people have a very good understanding of Dafa. They often help us to carry out our work, and even give us some help financially. Teacher's colleague said that Teacher's work is excellent and Teacher is very upright. A neighbor said that Teacher got along well with others, respected the old and loved the young. Even some of the policemen conducting their routine assignments, know from their heart that Teacher is good. On my way back, after I explained the true facts about Falun Gong to the taxi driver, she expressed her best wishes for my safety again and again as I got out of the car.
