"The Ones That Said Falun Gong Cheated People Cheated People"

Honorable leaders, all elders and villagers: How are you all? Please try to find time to hear the voice of my innermost feelings in the midst of your pressing affairs. Perhaps it will help you truly understand Falun Dafa and it's numerous genuine practitioners, and obtain a little correct information from puzzles of irrelevant rumors. I was a patient with Parkinson's disease, first diagnosed in 1987. I underwent testing at Linyi district hospital and also at the provincial hospital, and was hospitalized at Professor Xu Jiping's Parkinson's Research Institute, Binzhou (in Shandong) Medical School, at the County Chinese Medical Hospital. I spent almost 30,000 yuan out of my own pocket. With my health becoming worse and worse, I had to most sorrowfully give up most of my activities. I started to practice and cultivate Falun Gong in 1997. Falun Gong taught people to begin by being a good person, to become a better one, to consider others first in all respects, to cultivate one's mind and to be good, to become one with great moral values and at last to attain the righteous enlightenment of selflessness and altruism. Everything taught in Zhuan Falun made sense to me. I followed the Teacher's words to cultivate xinxing strictly and at the same time I persisted in studying the Fa and practicing. I never thought that a miracle would occur in my body in such a short time. After ten years of struggling with this stubborn chronic disease, I was apparently on the mend. Now I can take care of myself! Teacher Li saved me. He gave me my second life; I was deeply grateful in my heart. I never expected that a disaster would come down on me. The town government broke into my home and confiscated my property illegally. They took away sixteen pieces of furniture valued at over 3,000 yuan (Chinese dollars, about six month salary of an averaged worker in cities of China). My wife was fined 9,400 yuan because she cultivated Dafa and I was fined 3,200 yuan and my salary ended. From January 2000 until now, I did not get a penny for my salary. In the so-called "education class" held by the town government, my wife was beaten up for several days in succession and was monitored twenty-four hours each day, so she completely lost her personal freedom. Seventeen people in our town were arrested illegally and over sixty were fined. Was it not good to have health body since we cultivated and practiced Falun Dafa? Was it not good to be one with lofty moral values? Was it not wrong to treat us as an enemy and to persecute us? Was it not right to trust the government when we exercised our rights ensured by the Constitution to explain the truth explicitly and thus to help the government from continuing it's mistakes? Did it improve the image of the government and the Communist party to pressure people with threats of job loss, confiscation of property, huge fines, illegal arrests, and brutal beatings? Cultivating and practicing Falun Gong made me obtain a new life and have a healthy body and mind. Life was full of happiness. Because of persecution by a few evildoers in the government, my life became very difficult and even my daughter faced the plight of being expelled from school. Was this the doing and behavior of the people's government? It said on TV that Falun Gong cheated people and caused many people's death. Was I cheated when I spent my 30,000 yuan and still was not cured of my diseases, and then was restored to health after a short time of practice? How did I recover so fast from my disease which was not cured by over ten years of medical attention? People who do not practice Falun Gong were cheated by the lies temporarily, but we who had personally benefited understood very much in our hearts. Otherwise, why would so many people practice around the world? How could there be so many fools in the world? I believed firmly that "good would be rewarded with good, and evil with evil." I offer a piece of advice to those who illegally suppress these good people: Do not continue to do evil. I also say earnestly to all: Falun Gong did not cheat anyone, and the ones who said Falun Gong cheated people cheated people.
