Case Description:
Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Deng Zhenghua, 61 years old, was a retired worker from the Nanchang City Lumber Company in Jiangxi Province. She went to Beijing to appeal for justice for Falun Gong in 2000. In January 2001, she was abducted by personnel from her work unit and tortured until she lost her ability to walk. Her family posted bail and took her home. She was paralyzed and passed away in July 2001.
