Etouwan Brainwashing Class
Case Description:
Practitioner Mr. Zha Yuanqing was in his 60s and lived in the Qiaokou District, Wuhan City, Hubei Province. In the summer of 2002, persecutors sent him to a brainwashing class when the outside temperature was 104oF. They locked him in a room without a fan and without a mosquito net, even though the area was plagued with mosquitoes. In 2004, the perpetrators from the 610 Office sent him to the Etouwan Brainwashing Class, where he was verbally and physically abused on a daily basis. The perpetrators denied him sleep and forced him to attend brainwashing sessions. Zha Yuanqing struggled with physical and psychological pressure, and passed away on January 16, 2005.
