Case Description:
Ms. Wei Meilan, a practitioner in Shandong Province, was a teacher at Beicheng High School, Mudan District, Heze City before she retired. In 2005, she was put into a detention center by police from the Mudan District's Domestic Security Section. Due to being tortured, she passed a massive amount of blood in her stool, and later had an operation to remove a rectal cancer, but she still did not recover. She died in 2006, not quite 60 years old.
