Case Description:
Practitioner Mr. Zeng Guozuo was a 54-year-old resident of Hunan Province. He was tortured during his detention in Xinkaipu Forced Labor Camp in Changsha City. Later, he was diagnosed with nasal cancer, but he was still detained another 7 months. In August 2005, fearing that Mr. Zeng was dying, his persecutors notified his local police station to pick him up. On September 18, 2005, 20 days after his release, Mr. Zeng passed away.
