Case Description:
Practitioner Li Li, 44, was from Chengbeiguan District, Laiyang City, Shangdong Province. In 2001, she was illegally taken to a mental hospital by the local police and 610 Office. She was brutally tortured and released only after the local authorities extorted money from her. Due to the severe physical and mental abuse she endured, she had edema and ulcerations all over her body. Shortly afterwards, on December 9, 2001, she passed away.
