Case Description:
Ms. Gao Yulan, 75 years old, was from Qingdao City, Shandong Province. Ms. Yu started practicing Falun Dafa in 1996. All her diseases were cured because of the practice. Ms. Yu was illiterate, but after she started practicing, she was able to read the book Zhuan Falun without difficulties. Her mind and body were purified. In December 1999, after Jiang's regime banned Falun Dafa, Ms. Yu and her three daughters traveled to Beijing to appeal to the government for the right to practice and to validate Dafa. The police there arrested them and the Qingdao Sifang District Police Department took them back to Qingdao. Ms. Yu and her three daughters were imprisoned in a police station. Ms. Yu became very ill after she was released. She died on March 28, 2000.
