Case Description:

(Minghui.org) Ms. Wang Zhen was an employee of Youjiang Minzu Hospital in Baise City, Guangxi Province. She was given two years of forced labor in 2004 for practicing Falun Gong. Her employer demoted her and cut her pay after she was released. She worked as a custodian at her hospital for five years before being asked to work in a lab.

Ms. Wang was sent to a local brainwashing center on April 10, 2009 and held there for about one month, during which time she was once deprived of sleep for five straight days.

Ms. Wang was held at the brainwashing center for a second time in June 2014. She began to experience pain in her body after she was released about three weeks later.

In early 2016, Ms. Wang talked to a college student about Falun Gong and was reported to the hospital management by the student's mother. The hospital kept harassing her afterwards. In July that year, three officers arrested her and sent her to the brainwashing center for a third time. She became critically ill in just ten days and was released home. She died on September 22, 2016. She was in her 40s.
