Since the public exposure of the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) inhuman acts of organ harvesting from living Falun Gong practitioners and cremating the bodies, the Falun Dafa Association and the Minghui website established "The Coalition to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong in China (CIPFG)" on April 4, 2006. Since then, CIPFG has been proactively investigating the organ harvesting issue, collecting evidence, and exposing the facts about Mainland China's labor camps, detention centers, prisons, and hospitals.

1) Intimidation by Shandong First Women's Forced Labor Camp and Murders in the "Far Northwest"

I was taken to and detained without due cause at Shandong First Women's Forced Labor Camp, Jiangshuquan, Jinan City in 2002. The head of the forced labor camp and those responsible for "transforming" us threatened us , "If you refuse to be transformed, you will be taken to the 'Far Northwest.' The buildings have already been constructed. If you are sent there, your death is certain. Don't even think of coming back alive." At that time, I suspected that we would have to suffer cruel and inhuman torture. Alas, after the exposure of Sujiatun's secret and the live organ harvesting at labor camps, detention centers, prisons, and hospitals across the country, I suddenly understood what their threat actually entailed.

2) Forced Blood Tests on Detainees at Wanjia Forced Labor Camp

After hearing about horrifying news of the inhuman crimes -- the live organ harvesting from Falun Gong practitioners -- at labor camps, detention centers, prisons, and hospitals all across China, I remembered what I had experienced at Wanjia Forced Labor Camp.

In March of 2005, all inmates, including Falun Gong practitioners, were ordered to have their blood drawn and tested. They said that they were testing us for infectious diseases. Everyone had a full test tube, which was the width of a thumb, filled with our blood. Every test tube was numbered. During the procedure, the prison hospital director was very aggressive and at the same time afraid that anyone might refuse. Thinking back, I'm speculating - was this in reality to build a database for live organ harvesting from Falun Gong practitioners?

3) Suspicious Autopsy of Practitioner Zhang Zhenggang

Given the recent exposure of live organ harvesting from Falun Gong practitioners at labor camps, prisons, and concentration camps, their subsequent transplants into patients, and the cremation of the bodies, I became suspicious of what happened to Zhang Zhenggang, who was inhumanly beaten to death.

Mr. Zhang Zhenggang was a Falun Gong practitioner and the director of the Falun Gong Huaian Practice Site. Huaian Police Department arrested and detained him from March 2 to 25 of 2000. Although existing law clearly forbids torture, Mr.Zhang was severely beaten by the police on March 25, 2000. Then, he was rushed to Huaian First People's Hospital. On the evening of March 30, Zhang was still unconscious. An electrocardiogram indicated a slowing down of the heartbeat and breathing difficulties.

After a short discussion, forty to fifty more officers arrived at the hospital. They closed off the corridor and the hospital ward, and deceived Zhang's family, who were at Zhang's bedside, into leaving the room. They said that they wanted to discuss Zhang's death. But, in reality they isolated and monitored them carefully. Several policemen forced the doctor to remove the oxygen tank and drips from Zhang, and to give him an injection. Then the policemen frenziedly pushed away all of his relatives and family members, and took Mr. Zhang's body to the crematory.

According to Mr. Zhang's wife, relatives and fellow practitioners, after police and the 610 officers wheeled Zhang's body to the crematory, they performed an autopsy without the presence and signed agreement of Zhang's family. They are not certain if police and the 610 officers had Mr. Zhang's organs removed. But the circumstances surrounding this autopsy are very suspicious. Police and 610 officers did not provide any explanation or the autopsy report.

4) Situation at Jilin Gongzhuling Xinsheng Prison

We believe that there are a number of large underground rooms at Xinsheng Prison, equipped with everything needed in a hospital. An internal source said that more than 300 people are detained there. It is not known as to how many Falun Gong practitioners are there. Apparently, Gongzhuling Xinsheng Prison is much bigger than Jilin Prison, and it is still under construction. Also, it is rumored that more officers are needed there. Political instructor Wang Songlin, a new employee, is in charge of the underground rooms.

Practitioner Yang Huiyong was transferred to Gongzhuling Xinsheng Prison from Changchun Tiebei Prison. His chest and back were covered with bruises from beatings with an electric baton, his feet and legs were swollen, and his head was badly injured. After strong protests, his family members finally could see him. To hide the injuries and the persecution Mr. Yang suffered, they put a big hat on his head. They did not want his family to see the injuries.

5) Exposing Collection of Blood Samples from Unlawfully Detained Falun Gong Practitioners at Wangcun Labor Camp

I am a Falun Gong practitioner from Shandong. I had been detained without due cause for three years at Wangcun Labor Camp -- from 2002 to 2005. After the exposure of the organ harvesting from living Falun Gong practitioners at concentration camps, I recalled an incident when I was detained and persecuted at Wangcun Labor Camp.

At the beginning of January of 2005, the labor camp forced all Falun Gong practitioners who refused to be "transformed" to have a blood test. Everyone had a big tube of blood drawn and afterward felt weak and cold. They said it was a blood test. I thought at that time they were selling our blood for money. A few depraved guards carried me from the third floor to the health clinic, which was downstairs. They took my blood at the clinic gate. Only a few people who they thought were completely "transformed," and who already were their tools in the persecution of practitioners, were excused from giving blood.

6) Secret Prison at Wangcun Forced Labor Camp

There is a secret prison near the Wangcun Labor Camp. It is located near the youth detention center and hidden extremely well. There are out of sight guards in that area and ordinary people may not approach this area. According to people who work at the labor camp, that place was constructed to house the worst criminals. It does not belong to the same governmental system as the labor camps, and even staff from the labor camps may not enter the area.

Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Zhao Dewen, 52 years old, was from Beichen District, Tianjin City. In the beginning of 2001, she was arrested by local police at her own home. She was illegally sentenced to one year of forced labor camp. She was detained at Banqiao Bridge Forced Labor Camp, Tianjin City for persecution. Because she would not give up her practice of Falun Gong, they extended her forced labor term twice. She was persecuted to death on June 3, 2003.

One day before her death, the forced labor camp started a new round of persecution on Falun Gong practitioners and they singled out Zhao Dewen as the victim of their inhumane crimes. At that time, those who directly participated in persecuting her were police officers Kou Na, and Yin Chanzhang. Under the direct guidance of both of these two officers, three drug addicts forced her to take some aphrodisiac. Those three drug addicts were Wang Tonghuan, Wanghui, and Chang Zhiling. Yin Changzhang said, "I took this kind of drug before. It is very powerful. Wait for half an hour, and then strip off her clothes."

After half an hour, those drug addicts took off Zhao Dewen's clothes. Wang Tonghuan then forcefully inserted his hand into Zhao Dewen's private parts and wildly grabbed inside, which caused Zhao to bleed profusely. Zhao Dewen suffered extreme pain. Later on, Wang Tonghuan wanted to vomit and said, "I would not do such a thing in the future."

In order to cover up the truth of this event, the forced labor camp sent a notice to Zhao Dewen's home saying she committed suicide. The police even fabricated the suicide scene. When her family members came to the forced labor camp, they saw that Zhoa's neck had marks caused from being hung by her neck, both of her wrists were cut and broken, and she was wearing new clothes. Her family asked for her former clothes, but the police said they could not find them. When her family helped to change her clothing, they found a big hole under her arm was still bleeding. Her back was black. Her private part was still bleeding.

The police would not allow her family to take her body home. Instead, they wanted to cremate her body in order to cover up their crimes and eliminate the scene of the killing. On June 7, 2003, the entire No. 5 team was moved to the No. 1 team building and combined with them.

In the beginning of 2003, Tianjin City Female Forced Labor Camp held a brainwashing session to persecute those Falun Gong practitioners who would not be "transformed". The captain of the police ordered criminals Ge Juan, Li Xue, Wang Tonghuan, Chang Zhiling, and Wang Hui to take turns beating up Falun Gong practitioners. Their methods were very vicious and cruel. They wore gloves to dig into a female practitioner's private parts. They squeezed female practitioners' nipples until they were mashed.

Xia Chunli, the captain of police was the person in charge of the brainwashing sessions. She often beat up Falun Gong practitioners until they lost consciousness, and she kept saying ferociously, "If you do not transform, I will let you die without any evidence." The police at the forced labor camp put drugs into Falun Gong practitioners' meals. Some would even pinch a Falun Gong practitioner's neck with one hand while grasping the Falun Gong practitioner's hair with the other hand and pour drugs into the Falun Gong practitioner's mouth. The police also pulled off Falun Gong practitioners' clothing and then applied some drug to their skin which makes people become mentally unbalanced, and paralyzes the whole body.

Banqiao Female Forced Labor Camp at Tianjin City: 86-22-63251823

Ms. Ma Chunli, a Falun Gong practitioner from Dehui city, was arrested and taken to the Dehui Detention Center, and she has been persecuted there for more than sixteen months. Because of the torture, Ma Chunli protested by going on a hunger strike, and the prison violently force-fed her, causing serious damage. Ma Chunli could not take any food and was hospitalized every few days. She was so emaciated that she was only skin and bones and even lost the ability to speak. She was in critical condition.

Although neither the prison nor the hospital would accept her, the detention center still refused to release her. The family members of Ma Chunli called the head of the 610 Office, Li Yuke. For Ms. Ma, Li Yuke said that the Dehui court had already sent out the notice refusing any parole.

In the meantime, Sun Qian, who is Ma Chunli's husband and also a Falun Gong practitioner, has been persecuted for a long time in the second prison of Jilin province, which caused him to develop a new disease, lymph-node tuberculosis, on top of the old ones that were already quite serious and not cured yet. Before this, the second prison of Jilin province forcibly fed Sun Qian. They used violent methods and poured a high concentration saline into him and persecuted him with various cruel means. Sun Qian is very weak now and is in critical condition.

I was shocked after reading reports that exposed those Chinese Communist Party (CCP) agents who were harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners at the Sujiatun Concentration Camp in Shenyang. Although I was shocked, these findings came as no surprise. In 2002, when I was unconstitutionally detained in the so-called "Legal Education Program" (a brainwashing center) I heard from the doctors there about harvesting human organs and some other horrible stories. I didn't pay too much attention to these stories then. Based on the doctors' discussions and on those from the "helping and educating" people, I could see that the CCP is capable of doing anything during this persecution of practitioners who firmly believe in Falun Gong.

In 2002 when the persecution was the most severe, the 610 Office in Hubei Province wanted to achieve a "reform" quota for Falun Gong practitioners. They commanded all brainwashing centers to ruthlessly persecute practitioners. When I refused to "reform" and was tortured to my last gasp of breath, I overheard the conversation of two doctors sent by the 610 Office to this brainwashing center. I also heard several "helping and educating" people talking in the room, "Every time they execute people in Wuhan City, ambulances from various major hospitals wait by the execution grounds to get the bodies. The hospitals calculate the timing well. Doctors at these hospitals had already begun transplant surgery on patients before the bodies arrived at the hospital. The procedure at the execution grounds is to immediately pull the bodies onto the ambulance right after the police shoot the victim and transport the body to the hospital to be dissected, and the organs are harvested and transplanted into the patients."

After the bloody facts in Sujiatun were exposed, I realized their purpose for discussing this in front of me: on the one hand it affirmed that certain agents from the CCP had started harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners who were secretly detained; on the other hand, the persecutors were also trying to intimidate me, letting me know that if I refused to "reform," I would face the same consequence.

After a display of fake compassion in the brainwashing center, they still couldn't force me to give up my belief. The brainwashing center head had a conversation with me, "You have two choices at this point: one is to put you in a completely isolated dark cell. Other than a light, there is nothing else there. You will get your three meals through a small cell opening. Other than that, any other contact with the outside is forbidden. You wouldn't even hear noise or see any light from the outside. It was said that the longest time a person could stand such isolation is 49 days before they die of loneliness. Another way is to hang you up in the middle of nowhere to make you suffer. Think about it and let me know which you choose."

Later, they really did hang me up to torture me.

They also shouted, "There are only two options once you are in the Legal Education Program: to give up Falun Gong or to separate from the CCP. If you refuse to 'reform,' the only thing awaiting you is death! We are treating you well enough in this Legal Education Program. If you refuse to 'reform,' we will send you to the hospitals of the Ministry of Public Security without you even knowing it. You'll know how bad it is once you are there!"

In addition, based on what I know, since 2002 some of the Falun Gong practitioners who had gone to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong and were arrested and didn't reveal their names and addresses have been sent to Shenyang City. I remember something else: when many local practitioners were then arrested, almost every guard had said assertively, "If it were up to me I would send all of you to the Northwest, to see whether or not you would still persist in practicing Falun Gong."

In May 2001, a 610 Office head openly threatened during a brainwashing center conference: "If you persist in practicing and refuse to be 'reformed,' you will pay a high price. The eight million military soldiers of the Nationalist Party could even be driven to Taiwan. What could you Falun Gong do? The CCP even reformed the last emperor. You think the CCP can't 'reform' Falun Gong?"

Had it not been for my personal experiences in that brainwashing center, I wouldn't have believed the bloody persecution facts that have come to light in Sujiatun. So, an ordinary person who lives with the CCP's constant lies wouldn't have believed all these either. The tragic happenings in the Sujiatun Concentration Camp should make us further recognize the CCP's evil nature and once again establish that we shouldn't place any hopes on it.

1. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Zhang Zhiguo Is Detained at Harbin Hulan Prison, Whether He Is Alive or Dead Is Unknown

Mr. Zhang Zhiguo, a 40-year-old Falun Gong practitioner, is a teacher from the Five Township's 1st Middle School in Zhaodong City, Heilongjiang Province. Because of his active practice of Falun Gong, he was illegally arrested at home on April 18, 2002, by police officers from Zhaodong City. He was later charged and sentenced to 10 years of imprisonment in Harbin City Hulan Prison, beginning on October 19, 2002, and continuing to this day.

Mr. Zhang has been beaten and tortured by wardens. Since April 28, 2005, he has been denied visitations from his family. As to whether he is still alive or dead, his family has no idea. The prison still refuses to allow them any admittance whatsoever.

2. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Practitioner Mr. Zhao Jianshe Is Tortured for Participating in a Hunger Strike to Resist the Persecution

On June 2, 2003, Weifang City practitioner Mr. Zhao Jianshe (also called Zhao Yougang) was arrested, but his family still hasn't received any notification whatsoever of his arrest. Since his arrest, Mr. Zhao has been on hunger strike to resist the persecution, even under the constant day-to-day torture inflicted by eight prison workers.

3. [Anshan City, Liaoning Province] Practitioners Ms. Li Suxiang and Mr. Chen Wei Arrested

On the morning of April 8, 2006, practitioner Ms. Li Suxiang, a resident of Anshan City, was arrested while she was posting "truth-clarification materials" on a wall. Later the same day, the police confiscated all her Falun Gong books and materials. In addition, practitioner Mr. Chen Wei from Xitanghe Village, Tanggang Town, Old Castle Region, Anshan, was recently arrested as well.

4. [Tonghua, Hebei Province] Practitioner Mr. Wang Guiming and His Wife Persecuted, Leaving Their Daughter without a Caretaker

Practitioner Mr. Wang Guiming from Tonghua City, who is currently detained at the Siping City Shiling Jail, is under continued persecution.. His wife was also arrested when she went to appeal for him. Their daughter is a high school student and now has no guardian to take care of her.

5. [Changsha City, Hunan Province] Practitioner Mr. Gao Hui is Facing an Illegal Trial

On the evening of December 20, 2005, practitioner Mr. Gao Hui from Changsha City was arrested by about a dozen police officers from both the Kaifu District Police bureau in Changsha City and the Xinhe Police Station. He has been "illegally detained" in Shangsha City Detention Center for over four months.

Mr. Gao has been on a hunger strike to resist his detention, and his life was in danger at one time. Kaifu Court is likely to sentence Mr. Gao soon..

6. [Fushun City, Liaoning Province] Xinbin County Practitioner Ms. Li Fengqing Persecuted at Luotaishan Village Brainwashing Center

In early 2006, practitioner Ms. Li Fengqing from Yushu Village, Xinbin County, Fushun City, Liaoning Province, was sent to the Luotaishan Village Brainwashing Center.

7. [Beijing] Five Practitioners from Haidian District Arrested

At about 8:30 p.m. on April 4, 2006, practitioners Mr. Wang Kuizan and his daughter, Ms. Jiang Yahui, from Seven Sage Village in the Haidian District of Beijing were illegally interrogated and arrested by police officers from the Jien Village Police Station, claiming they were checking residence registrations. Chang Chunli and two other practitioners were arrested as well.

8. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Many Practitioners from the Qingshan District Arrested

At about 11 a.m. on the morning of April 10, 2006, practitioner Mr. Yan Simin of Qingshan Town in the Qingshan Petroleum and Chemistry Factory area of the Qingshan Ship Factory was arrested by the local police force and officers from the 610 Office while he was working. Later the same day, police officers broke into practitioner Mr. Chen Zhongyi's home. Mr. Chen, a retired employee from the Petroleum and Chemistry Factory, spoke to them in an upright manner and refused to open the door, so the police officers found Chen's daughter at the Petroleum and Chemistry Factory, took her with them, and forced her to open the door to her father's home, thus gaining illegal entry. After the break-in, they arrested Mr. Chen and confiscated his computer and printer.

It is known that arrested practitioners are currently being detained in the Tangxun Lake Brainwashing Center at Hubei Province. Another practitioner, Ms. Luo Mengqing, who is employed with the Ship Factory, was forced to leave home and wander about to avoid arrest.

9. [Fushun City, Liaoning Province] Thirteen Practitioners Detained at the Wujiabaozi Forced Labor Camp

Thirteen very steadfast practitioners are still detained at the Wujiabaozi Forced Labor Camp at Fushun City. They are all separated from each other in this detention center and assigned to different teams.

10. [Sichuan Province] Practitioner Ms. Yang Hualian Persecuted for a Year

Ms. Yang Hualian, a practitioner from Guanghan City, was arrested, transported to the brainwashing center and detained for nearly a year. She can no longer walk due to the persecution and torture. Even with her incapacitation, she was sentenced on April 12, 2006.

11. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Practitioner Ms. Gao Shuyan Arrested from Home

Ms. Gao Shuyan, a practitioner from Harbin Cement Plant, who is nearly 40 years old, was arrested from her home on April 12, 2006.

12. [Jilin City, Jilin Province] Practitioner Ms. Chang Shenjun Arrested by Minzhu Police Station

On April 11, 2006, the Jilin City Minzhu Police Station received a report from Jitie Hospital security. They went to the hospital and arrested Ms. Chang Shenjun, a 40-year-old practitioner, who was clarifying the truth.

13. [Meihekou City, Jilin Province] Practitioner Ms. Wang Jianhua Arrested by Police

On March 15, 2006, practitioner Ms. Wang Jianhua, who was forced to be homeless, was arrested by officers from the Meihekou City Police Department. It was said she would be sent to a forced labor camp.

14. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Practitioners Ms. Diao Yuqin and Ms. Zhao Yumei Arrested after Someone Reported Them to Police

On April 4, 2006, when Ms. Diao Yuqin and Ms. Zhao Yumei were distributing truth-clarification material, someone reported them to the police. They were arrested by officers from Songbook Police Station, the Nationa Security Group, and the 610 Office. Their homes were ransacked. People directly in charge of the case were Fang Chenpu and Yang Yunhui.

15. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Zhang Guile Illegally Held in Yogi Detention Center and No Family Visits Allowed

Practitioner Mr. Zhang Guilin, 27, is a former employee of the Dalian Bingshan Rubber & Plastic Product Co. Ltd. On September 22, 2005, he was arrested by officer Wang Yi (by sound) of the Network Section of Dalian City Police Department, Liaoning Province, when Mr. Zhang was clarifying the truth in an Internet Cafe. Currently he is being held in the Dalian Yaojia Detention Center, and his family members are not allowed to visit him.

16. [Benxi City, Liaoning Province] Practitioner Mr. Liu Bin Arrested

Practitioner Mr. Liu Bin, around 30 years old, is an employee of the Digital Control Factory, a subsidiary of Benxi Steel Inc. of Benxi City. On April 6, 2006, he was arrested by officers from the 610 Office. His workplace and home were both ransacked by police. Many of his personal belongings were also confiscated.

17. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Practitioner Ms. Han Shuhua Arrested and Home Ransacked

Ms. Han Shuhua, 50 years old, is a resident of the Ganjingzi District, Dalian City. On April 12, 2006, before noon, when she was distributing truth-clarification materials, someone reported her to the police. Police officers from the Haimao Police Station in the Ganjingzi District of Dalian City "illegally arrested" her and ransacked her home. They confiscated several Falun Gong books and two MP3 players. On the night of April 12, 2006, they transferred her to the Yaojia Detention Center in Dalian City.

From August 2001 to August 2002, Han Shuhua was repeatedly arrested by Yan Changzhen (Director) and others. She was illegally detained in a forced labor camp for two years and, with no receipt, had 20,000 yuan extorted from her. During that time, Ms. Han was tortured. The dark purple wounds on her feet from the "Feet Soak in Boiling Water" are still visible.

18. [Fushun City, Liaoning Province] Practitioner Ms. Gong Dongqiu Taken to Luotai Villa Brainwashing Center

Practitioner Ms. Gong Dongqiu, 44 years old, lives in the Heping Community, the Wanghua District, Fushun City. On April 13, 2006, around 8:00 a.m. two persons from the community office knocked on her door. Ms. Gong invited them in. When they were leaving, outside the door, Ms. Gong was arrested by many police officers waiting at the door. The police officers were from Heping Police Station. They detained her in the Luotai Villa Brainwashing Center. They also searched her home and confiscated many Falun Gong books when no family members were around.

19. [Gaizhou City, Liaoning Province] Practitioners Ms. Han Xuesong, Ms. Hou Suxin, and Ms. Ma Lihui Arrested

Practitioners Ms. Han Xuesong, 38 years old; Ms. Hou Suxin, 55; and Ms. Ma Lihui, 42, are residents of Mengjiawa Village, Jiuzhai Town, Gaizhou City. On April 9, 2006, they were arrested by Dong Wenhai, Director of the Jiulongdi Police Station in Gaizhou City, and two other policemen. The women were distributing truth-clarification materials. Now they are probably detained in the Gaizhou City Shelter.

20. [Beijing] Practitioner Ms. Su Xiurong and Others Arrested by Police

On February 26, 2006, practitioner Gao from the Fangshan District of Beijing was arrested and detained by officers from the Fangshan Police Department. At the same time, practitioner Ms. Su Xiurong of Raolefu in the Fangshan District of Beijing, Ms. Liu Jinyu, and her daughter were arrested in Doudian Village in the Fangshan Area by police from the Fangshan Police Department.

21. [Jingzhou City, Hubei Province] Practitioner Ms. Wang Qiong Arrested by Sha City 610 Officials

Ms. Wang Qiong is a teacher at Wenxing School in Jingzhou City. She was forced to work in a hot water boiler and pump room because she practices Falun Gong.

On April 12, 2006, around 6:30 a.m. Sha City 610 Office Director Yang Jianong, Jiang Zhi, Chaoyang Street Office, Community Office, Wu Shihai from the school, and others arrested Ms. Wang Qiong from the hot water boiler and pump room in Wenxing School.

22. [Wuhan, Hubei Province] Practitioner Mr. Zhang Zhengzhou Arrested by Xinandu Police

On April 9, 2006, practitioner Mr. Zhang Zhengzhou, a resident of Xinandu, Dongxihu, Wuhan City, was arrested by officers from Xinandu Police Station while he was distributing truth-clarification material. In order to find out the source of Falun Gong materials, police released him purposely. On April 10, Mr. Zhang was arrested again when he was working on the farm. Now he is illegally detained in the Wujiashan's 2nd Detention Center, Dongxihu, Wuhan City.

23. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Qingshan District Practitioner Huang Renzhu Arrested, and His Whereabouts Unknown

Practitioner Mr. Huang Renzhu is from Gongren Village, Qingshan District, Wuhan City. On April 11, 2006, he was followed by two policemen when he was distributing truth-clarification materials at the Wuhan Steel Company. When he returned to work, he was arrested. His whereabouts are unknown.

24. [Puning, Guangdong Province] Practitioner Ms. Wu Chunmei Arrested

Practitioner Ms. Wu Chunmei, a schoolteacher, is from Puning, Guangdong Province. On April 13, 2006, she was arrested by officers from Puning State Security. She is currently held in the Puning Wushi Detention Center.

25. [Shenzhen, Guangdong] Practitioner Mr. Zhong Guannan and His Wife, Ms. Zhu Lihua, Arrested

On April 12, 2006, practitioner Ms. Zhu Lihua was arrested at home. Her husband was arrested at work. Shenzhen police ransacked their home. Currently their junior high school age daughter has to stay at home by herself.

26. [Bozhou City, Anhui Province] Mr. Fan Yunhe Is Persecuted Again by 610 Office after His Prison Term Expires

On April 11, 2006, practitioner Mr. Fan Yunhe from Bozhou City, Anhui Province, had served his 18-month prison term but was not allowed to go home. The Political and Legal Committee Chief of the Bozhou City Jiaocheng District ordered the Huaxilou Office to send him directly to the Bozhou City 610 Office brainwashing center for further persecution.

27. [Guangdong Province] Many Practitioners Detained in Sihui City Prison

Sihui City Prison in Guangdong Province (Mailbox #290, Sihui City, Guangdong Province) detains many practitioners. Mr. Zhuang Wenshu has been detained there for over five years.

On October 12, 2000, the first day of the Shenzhen High-Tech Fair, some practitioners distributed flyers around the Shennan Zhong Lu Electronics Science & Technology Building, Sai Ge Plaza, and the Huaneng Building. Included in the flyer was a statement, "Jiang Zemin Cannot Escape the Historic Responsibility." This prompted large-scale arrests. More than a dozen people were arrested in Shenzhen. Mr. Zhuang was sentenced to seven years in prison. Some former inmates reported that police officers ordered Mr. Zhuang and another practitioner to kneel down on a bench during a meeting. When he refused, a group of police officers kicked him to kneel down. They handcuffed his hands and feet to an iron bench for more than 40 days.

Last year Shenzhen also sentenced Mr. Luo Yaohui, a computer expert and originally a teacher at the Shenzhen University, to seven years in prison. Mr. Luo was sentenced to three years in prison in 2001. Currently Mr. Luo is also detained in Sihui City Prison.

28. [Wuyi County, Zhejiang Province] Practitioner Ms. Zheng Weihong and Her Husband Arrested

On April 11, 2006, Officers from Wuyi County 610 Office together with police took Ms. Zheng Weihong and her husband, Mr. Wang Shengbiao. Her husband is not a practitioner and works in the Construction Bank in Wuyi County. They confiscated her computer and printer. Her high school age son is left without care.

29. [Anlu, Hubei Province] Practitioner Mr. Li Hong Deprived of His Job by His Employer

Mr. Li Hong was an employee of the Agriculture Bank in Anlu City, Hubei Province. When someone reported to the authorities that he distributed truth clarification materials, the bank fired him from his job.

Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Tan Xiufen was 44, and a teacher employed by the Company School affiliated with the East Petroleum Chemicals Corp. Zhong Petroleum Field. She lived in Tiandong County, Baise City, in the Guangxi Autonomous Region. On September 28, 2005, policemen from Tiandong County Nationa Security Group and Heheng Station stormed into the campus, ransacked her home, and arrested and detained her in the Tiandong County Detention Center. In mid February 2006, she was sent to the Tiandong County Hospital. She was dying, very thin, and had an unsteady mind. She could not talk at the time. She had totally lost the ability to take care of herself. On March 27, 2006, she jumped from the fifth floor of her apartment building, and died at around 2:00 p.m. on March 28, 2006.

Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Liu Meizhen, 65, lives in Dadong District, in Shenyang City, Liaoning Province. She was arrested on November 21, 2005 by police officers from the Liaoshen Station and sent to the Zaohua Detention Center after being tortured at the Station.

On April 6, 2006, her family went to the Zaohua Detention Center to visit, and the guards told them that Ms. Liu Meizhen had been sentenced to three years in prison and sent to the Liaoning Province Women's Prison.

On April 10, 2006, Ms. Liu's family went to the prison to visit her, and saw that she was being aided by two people, because she could not walk on her own. She is now detained in the Sixth Group of the Third Ward.
