On the afternoon of Saturday and Sunday, April 29-30, 2006, the Hong Kong Service Center for Quitting the CCP, the Epoch Times newspaper and other civic organizations and groups held two grand parades respectively in Hong Kong and Kowloon District. The purpose was to support the ten million withdrawals from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its affiliated organizations, to call for people to oppose the persecution of Falun Gong and disintegrate the CCP, and to greet the new China without the CCP.

Call for the international community to conduct a thorough investigation into the CCP's forced labor camps

The two grand parades had different themes. The parade held on Saturday, April 29 in Hong Kong had the theme, "A Call to Conscience: Stop the Persecution." The grand parade held on Sunday, April 30, 2006 in Kowloon District was entitled, "All People Awaken: Disintegrate the CCP." More than 1,500 people from the Hong Kong area and surrounding areas participated in the two parades, including Falun Gong practitioners, volunteers for the Service Center for Quitting the CCP, the Epoch Times and pro-Democracy activists in Hong Kong. Besides supporting the ten million courageous people quitting the CCP, they also protested against the CCP's brutal tyranny, including its barbaric acts of harvesting organs from Falun Gong practitioners and other prisoners of conscience in forced labor camps, prisons, hospitals and related facilities. The participants called for people from all social strata and the international community to support and participate in a thorough investigation into all the atrocities committed in these facilities, and to help stop the persecution.

Falun Gong practitioner and Professor of Politics at National Taiwan University, Ming Chu-Cheng made a speech at the rally before the parade on April 29. He took as an example the CCP's history of killing people since it seized the power, to point out that the CCP has always been treating different groups of people as enemies and mercilessly killing them.

There is sufficient evidence of the CCP's brutal practice of organ harvesting

Professor Ming Chu-Cheng said that in addition to the two eyewitnesses, Peter and Annie, who stood out to testify publicly, there are also advertisements and websites of hospitals, organ transplantation centers, organ transplantation agencies throughout China that point to these crimes. Further, recently-conducted investigation and phone interviews by the international community and the media have targeted hospitals and other facilities throughout China, turning up a great deal of evidence of the CCP's atrocities of organ harvesting from living Falun Gong practitioners.

Condemning the CCP harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners and cremating their murdered bodies to destroy the evidence

Professor Ming Chu-Cheng took as an example the murder of millions of Jewish people in the Nazis' concentration camps during WWII, to point to the urgency for the international community to rescue illegally-detained Falun Gong practitioners. He said that during WWII, on June 23, 1944, under the Danish Government's repeated insistence, in order to "clarify" the rumor regarding death camps, the Nazi allowed a Red Cross delegation for the first time to visit and investigate the Nazi's Theresienstadt Concentration Camp in what is now the Czech Republic. What the investigators saw was the concentration camp after the Nazis' cleaned it up. The Nazis had built a number of false shops and cafes, giving the impression to the investigators that the Jews lived there comfortably. But actually, to reduce the crowded conditions of the concentration camp, many Jews had been transferred to Auschwitz Concentration Camp in Poland and killed. In the following year, until Nazi Germany was defeated in 1945, there were 2.5 million more Jewish people mercilessly killed in Nazi concentration camps.

Professor Ming Chu-Cheng pointed out that the investigations conducted by international organizations and the media, and the recordings of interviews showed that the CCP intends to hastily murder all eyewitnesses before July 1, when the Interim Human Organ Transplant Regulations issued by the CCP takes effect. The CCP is operating overtime to remove organs from living Falun Gong practitioners. Professor Ming demanded the CCP to open up all forced labor camps, prisons, hospitals, mental hospitals and related facilities to allow the international community and governments of different countries to conduct an independent investigation, and to guarantee that those who are interviewed are truly victims and not perpetrators, in case the CCP tries to deceive the investigators.

Good will be rewarded and evil be punished, the tyranny will definitely collapse

At the rally on Sunday, Professor Ming Chu-Cheng made another speech, pointing out that the grand tide of quitting the CCP, inspired by the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party, is overwhelming. The CCP has racked its brains to find a way out, but is unable to change its doomed fate. Regarding some people's view that the CCP looks strong and powerful, and therefore doubting that there are people right now who want to quit the CCP, Professor Ming pointed out that history has repeatedly shown that a despotic regime usually looks strong before its collapse. He gave the examples of the tyrannical governments of Nazi Germany, the Soviet Union, and eight countries in Eastern Europe, all of which swiftly collapsed in the end. This proves the old saying, "Good will be rewarded, and evil be punished. Tyranny will definitely collapse." Professor Ming pointed out that since it seized the power, the CCP has killed 80 million Chinese citizens, and it is still killing right now. It is inevitable that Heaven will eliminate the CCP. He also stressed the point that the CCP is absolutely not China, and the demise of the CCP is absolutely not the end of China. On the contrary, after the CCP disintegrates, there will be a beautiful new China. He hoped that all people would join in the great movement of spreading the Nine Commentaries, promoting the three withdrawals (from the CCP, the Communist Youth League and the Young Pioneers), and greet the great historic moment of the rebirth of a new China.

Professor Ming likened the striking power of the Nine Commentaries to a chain reaction of nuclear fission, penetrating layer upon layer. The number of withdrawals has increased from one million a year ago, to nine million within one year. As of April 24, the number has broken through ten million. On April 21, in just one day, there were over 48,000 withdrawals.

It's shame to assist tyranny to do evil deeds

Situ Hua, president of the Hong Kong Alliance in Support of Patriotic and Democratic Movement in China could not attend the rally, but his recorded speech was broadcast at the rally on Sunday. He said, "The CCP has ruled China for 57 years. Not only there are no freedom of speech and freedom of press, but it also tries all means to cover up, distort and trump up historical facts. What does its 'Three Represents' actually represent? I feel it represents dictatorship, brutal violence and corruption. A person of conscience should feel ashamed about being in such an organization, and at the same time, assisting the tyranny to do evil deeds. Any member of it should think seriously about whether or not he should work for this organization and be one of its members. Today, ten million people have quit the CCP. I believe there are more people who actually wish not to be in this Party."

Don't be deceived by the CCP's superficial appearance

Hong Kong Falun Gong practitioner Zhu Keming, who was illegally imprisoned for five years for filing a lawsuit against Jiang Zemin and Luo Gan for persecuting Falun Gong, also gave speech on Sunday. He pointed out that after the recent revelation of the CCP's atrocities of harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners and cremating their bodies to destroy the evidence, some people don't believe it. He said that kind-hearted people find it really hard to imagine just how evil the CCP is. But according to his personal experience of being subjected to cruel tortures during his five-year-long imprisonment in a CCP prison, he wholeheartedly believes that the CCP is capable of doing anything.

Zhu Keming said that the CCP has done all manner of evil deeds, but it is good at deceiving people. He hoped that people would no longer be deceived by the CCP's superficial appearance and its hypocrisy. He pointed out that if we truly want to understand the CCP, we must see through its evil nature, and even better, read the Nine Commentaries, so as to resolve all questions in our minds. Mr. Zhu called upon people of conscience to stand up to support the Quit the CCP activities.

Democracy activist Yang Zeming voiced the concerns of the Hong Kong people. He pointed out that since the CCP took over Hong Kong, it has controlled Hong Kong from behind the scenes for eight years. The fate of the people of Hong Kong is in the CCP's demon's claw. Basic rights and freedoms, including freedom of the press have been constantly eroded, and prosperity is vaporizing. The Hong Kong people complain of suffering. On top of it, the CCP covered up the SARS epidemic, resulting in the deaths of 300 innocent people in Hong Kong. The people of Hong Kong are looking forward to the collapse of the CCP, and are regaining confidence in the possibility of achieving democracy. Regarding the ten million people who have renounced their membership from the CCP, Mr. Yang believed that these ten million people, together with tens of thousands more Chinese people, will definitely lead to the CCP's collapse, and greet a New China with a democratic constitution.

The two-day parade procession was very impressive. People participating in the parade held huge long narrow flags, banners, signs and display boards with words opposing the persecution and supporting quitting the CCP. They called out slogans along the way, passing through the busiest areas of the city. The NTDTV Flag and Drum Troupe, Tian Wei Tang Dynasty Drum Troupe, and the Celestial Band and Waist Drum Troupe, continuously performed vigorous and powerful music accompanied with drumbeats, adding to the mighty vigor of the great wave of ten million CCP withdrawals, clearing out the dark haze, and awakening people's hearts. Some citizens were moved to tears. Local people on both sides of the road and both Chinese and Western tourists applauded to show their support when the procession passed by. Tourists continuously took pictures. Many employees from shops, hotels and parking lots came out to take photos with their cell phones or cameras.

Volunteers from the Service Center for Quitting the CCP and the Epoch Times distributed the Nine Commentaries and other information to expose the CCP's atrocities. Many people took them readily, and some motorists especially stopped their cars to take the materials.

There was a Chinese man who had just come to Hong Kong to visit his relatives. At first he dared not take the Nine Commentaries, but when the volunteer opened the book and began reading the table of contents, he focused his eyes on the book, and could not help saying, "That's right, it's correct!" He finally took the book to read on his own.

Praising Falun Gong practitioners as kind and brave

During the parade, many people expressed their appreciation for Falun Gong practitioners' courage and kind-hearted nature. They said they felt outraged at the CCP and condemned its brutality. Many people expressed their support for the theme of the parade, "Oppose the Persecution, Support the Ten Million Withdrawals from the CCP."

An English man named Simon told practitioners that he works in Hong Kong. He had read about quitting the CCP and the CCP's harvesting of organs from living Falun Gong practitioners for profit. His colleagues at the company he worked for had signed the petition to condemn the CCP's atrocities, and supported the international community in conducting a complete investigation into the atrocities.

Encouraged by the grand parade, Hong Kong citizens who have suffered a lot under the CCP's behind-the-scenes control over the past eight years, expressed their hopes to end the CCP's tyranny as soon as possible. One citizen saw the huge long narrow banner with the words, "Heaven Eliminates the CCP." He lifted the special edition of the Nine Commentaries in his hand and shouted loudly, "Heaven eliminates the CCP!" This man had once been arrested and savagely beaten by the local police in his hometown of Guangdong Province, for publicly complaining to the local government officials about the CCP plundering the local people's land and selling it at low prices. As a result, he could no longer live in China and escaped to Hong Kong.

On Saturday afternoon, the organizing group also held an activity, the Great Wall of Quitting the CCP, in Causeway Bay and at Tsim Sha Tsui Ferry. Participants held banners along the streets, and also performed vigorously on drums beside subways and piers to herald the coming of the historic moment when Heaven eliminates the CCP. Falun Gong practitioners also held an anti-torture exhibition over a period of two days in Causeway Bay and Tsim Sha Tsui Ferry Pier to expose the CCP's atrocities of organ harvesting from living people.

On April 30, 2006, Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Zhou Xuefei, who previously suffered from brutal persecution in a Chinese Communist Party (CCP) forced labor camp, participated in a rally supporting the ten million withdrawals from the CCP held in Alabama. She exposed the CCP's persecution of Falun Gong and called for rescuing Falun Gong practitioners who are still at risk in China.

Zhou Xuefei said in her speech that she felt that Wang Wenyi, who protested at the White House, was very lucky. "Compared with the evil forced labor camps in Mainland China, she was really very lucky." One time, while she was illegally detained in a forced labor camp in Guangdong Province in China, Zhou Xuefei and other practitioners were gathered on the playground. One of the practitioners had been on hunger strike for several days. The guards ordered the common criminals to drag her downstairs and forced her to go to drill with others. That practitioner already had very little strength and had to sit on the ground. When all others gathered together, she used all her strength to stand up and shouted out loud, "Return the reputation to Falun Gong! Return the reputation to My Master! Return my freedom!" Amid her shouting, the practitioner's mouth was covered, and she was dragged upstairs. During the struggling, her slippers fell on the ground in front of and behind her.

Zhou Xuefei said, "Because of the rigorous blockade in the forced labor camp, I still do not know her name. There are many more such practitioners. In November and December, 2002, when I was detained in cell 105, I heard sounds of struggling from the first floor, and then I heard shouting, 'Falun Dafa is great, Falun Dafa is great.' I heard the practitioner, whom I had never seen, having her mouth covered. At the time, many illegally detained Falun Gong practitioners had their detention terms extended, because they did not 'cooperate,' and refused to 'be reformed'. They were taken away by the agents from the '610 Office' to other places for further persecution."

Zhou Xuefei also talked about Dr. Huang Wanqing, who was also present. His younger brother has been missing for several years. She said, "I obtained freedom with great efforts by Falun Gong practitioners here and all righteous people in the world. When I was out safely, I read an article written by Huang Waniang. He mentioned the story of my husband Lu Chaohui rescuing me with international help. Now I treasure the photo of my head portrait reading 'Please Rescue My Wife' as the world's gift. When will Huang Wanqing be able to treasure that photo (rescuing his younger brother)? "

Zhou Xuefei ended by saying, "Last October, we supported five million withdrawals from the CCP in Tennessee. Now it is April. After six months, there are now ten million withdrawals. Anyone with clear mind will know what is happening. Things that do not appeal to people's hearts cannot last long."

Once information about China's harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners for transplant surgeries was revealed in early March, Falun Gong practitioners in Jinmen launched a new wave of truth clarification efforts. The purpose of their efforts is to ask the Jinmen local government, human rights groups, medical institutes and all good people to get together to stop the Chinese Communist Party (CCP)'s atrocities. In Taiwan, Falun Gong practitioners enjoy freedom of belief, and are actively clarifying the truth to their families, relatives, friends and others.

For a long time, practitioners have gone to Jinmen's scenic Taiwu Mountain area during the weekend to clarify the truth to the public by setting up display boards. After the organ harvesting crimes were exposed, the practitioners began to inform the tourists about the CCP-sanctioned bloody atrocities; they told everyone about the CCP's deception and cover-ups. They also asked local people not to go to China for organ transplants, and not to become an accomplice for the murderers.

Clarifying the Truth at Major Events

Jinmen has a small population, with villages scattered around an island. When a major event takes place, many people go there. At the end of March 2006, the Jinmen County Department of Public Health organized touring seminars in the countryside. Falun Gong practitioners attended these seminars, distributed flyers and clarified the truth. Some practitioners also got approval to speak during the seminars. They told the people about Falun Gong and the CCP's persecution.

At the beginning of April, the county government organized a children's activity in the Jinmen County Stadium to celebrate Children's Day. Some practitioners went to the site early in the morning. After they explained their intentions to the organizers, they got permission to do a human rights appeal activity outside of the stadium. They displayed poster boards, signature banners, lotus flowers, bookmarks and truth-clarifying flyers, and also demonstrated the Falun Gong exercises. Many people saw the displays.

"This is a horrible crime!" Mr. Zhang of the Jinmen Department of Public Health said loudly after reading our flyer. He signed his name on the signature banner and added angrily, "We should all stand up and stop this persecution."

"Sign your name, son!" Mr. He, who works at a government office, found out about the event from the news media. When he saw the signature collection, he called his two kindergarten-age sons to sign their names.

Ms. Xiao is a township clerk. She learned about this activity from the Internet and asked the Falun Gong practitioners for a copy of the special edition of Epoch Times to learn more. She held her son's hand to sign his name on the signature banner after she signed her name.

The Jincheng School District Student Games happened to be on the same day. So, after the county stadium activity, the practitioners went to Jincheng Junior High School Sports Field. The pure-hearted and innocent students were shocked and saddened after hearing about the CCP removing Falun Gong practitioner's organs for profit. After the practitioners explained the facts to them, they told even more fellow students.

"Justice, Peace and Anti Persecution" Memorial Service

In order to clarify the truth to a broader audience in Jinmen, and to appeal to the U.S. government and the U.N. human rights group to carry out investigations on the CCP-ordered crimes in harvesting Falun Gong practitioners' organs, practitioners held an activity. On the evening of April 14, Jinmen practitioners organized a memorial service at Jinmen Army Headquarters Square. The theme was "Justice, Peace and Anti Persecution." People paid tribute to the deceased practitioners by observing a moment of silence. Professor Zhang Jinhua, director of the Journalism Institute of Taiwan University, Weng Mingzhi, Secretary General of Fujian Province, and Dr. Chen Yuzheng from the Compassion Rehabilitation Clinic were invited to attend.

Hu Jingni delivered a speech on behalf of Falun Gong practitioners in Jinmen. She indicated that Jinmen is only a short distance away from mainland China, and said the event was significant because after China and Taiwan establish air traffic, ocean shipping and postal services between them, there will be more visits between the two countries. This is one reason why people need to hear more about China's real situation. The more everyone knows, the less chance damage will occur.

From a journalism teacher's perspective, professor Zhang Jinhua, director of the Journalism Institute of Taiwan University, talked about the CCP's organ removal practice against Falun Gong practitioners in forced labor camps. She said that one of the key elements in news reporting is truthfulness. The breadth of evidence makes it clear that the practice of organ harvesting is true. There are three sources that came forward to testify. The ex-wife of a surgeon who performed many live organ removals came forward to testify, a senior reporter who initially revealed detailed information of the organ harvesting spoke out, and the third is a former army doctor. In addition, three weeks after the news broke to the world, the CCP published a document called "Temporary Regulations on Human Organ Transplant Practices" to cover up its atrocities. The effective date for the new regulation is July 1. We can see that the CCP has given itself three months to murder more people and destroy the evidence. Recently, many hospitals said that if someone needs an organ, now is the time. They said that in the future the organs would not be available. Isn't this a telltale sign? But when we ask more people to come forward to stop this horrible thing, many people don't dare. It's not that they don't believe it; it's not due to lack of evidence, either; it is their fear of the evil CCP.

Secretary General Weng of the Taiwan Fujian Provincial government says that the CCP's fundamental character has not changed. Anyone trying to make friends with the CCP is in a very dangerous situation, because no one knows who will become the next victim. The persecution of Falun Gong is no longer a spiritual belief issue; it is a gross violation of basic human rights. Basic human rights are universal, something we should all respect.

According to Dr. Chen Yuzheng, the CCP's rule has been marked by dictatorship and brutality. Many people's moral character under the CCP over the past several decades have become twisted. The moral standard is corrupt, and that is why organ removal from living persons is done. A doctor should have the most basic medical ethics. If a doctor cannot follow the most basic medical ethics, then he will not respect his patients; nor does he know how to treasure life. It is therefore not difficult to imagine a doctor becoming a murderer under these horrific circumstances.
