Six days ago, investigators Zhang Fen and Xu Zhen from the "Coalition to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong in China" (CIPFG) went to the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) Consulate General in San Francisco to apply for visas to enter China, for the purpose of investigating the persecution of Falun Gong. On the afternoon of May 2, 2006, Zhang Fen received a phone call from the Chinese Consulate official informing her that their applications were rejected. Zhang Fen said that this showed that the CCP once again lied to the international community.

Spokesperson for the CIPFG, Ms. Sherry Zhang, stated that the international community must be vigilant, and that the CCP is thought to be hastily destroying evidence. Nevertheless, the mighty force of exposing the CCP's persecution of Falun Gong is unstoppable. More and more people from all walks of life have asked to join the CIPFG, in hopes of ending this inhuman persecution as soon as possible.

After the CCP's crimes were revealed, about harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners before cremating their bodies to destroy the evidence in the Sujiatun Concentration Camp, the CCP did not respond for three weeks, and then the spokesman for the CCP's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Qin Gang, denied this incident at a press conference, and publicly invited the international media to go to look into the facts. As a response to his invitation, investigators from Australia, Europe and the United States successively went to the Chinese Embassy and Consulates in their respective areas to apply for visas to go to China to investigate the persecution of Falun Gong. The investigators from Australia and Europe had their visa applications rejected immediately by the Chinese Consulate.

US investigators Zhang Fen and Xu Zhen submitted their visa applications on April 25. The official in charge of visa issues said that it was beyond his purview, and he could not made a decision, and would ask for instructions from Beijing. In the following two days, Zhang Fen called the consulate inquiring about the status of their visa applications. Not until the afternoon of May 2 did the official from the consulate call Zhang Fen and tell her that their visa applications were rejected.

Zhang Fen said that when she asked the reason for the rejection, the official did not answer her, but only said one more time, "Your visa applications were not approved," and then hung up the phone.

Rejection of the Investigators' Visa Applications Indicates that the CCP's Invitation was a Lie

Xu Zhen said that he was not surprised that his visa application was rejected, because the CCP has been relying on lies to sustain this persecution of Falun Gong. It is very afraid of having its atrocities exposed.

Zhang Fen pointed out that it can be clearly seen that the CCP's invitation to the international media to go to China for investigations is a lie. This just shows that the CCP once again lies to the international community.

Zhang Fen further pointed out that the CCP spent three weeks relocating and destroying evidence of the crimes at Sujiatun, and then arranged the international community to go there to "investigate." Now, what we want to investigate is the persecution of Falun Gong nationwide. The CCP would need more time to relocate and destroy the evidence, so they dare not allow outsiders to conduct a thorough and independent investigation into their crimes of harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners, an allegation which has been testified to by several witnesses.

"What is Done Cannot be Undone"

Xu Zhen said that though investigators temporarily are unable to enter China for investigation, presently, many witnesses have testified from different angles on the CCP's crimes of harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners for profit throughout China. Recently, a military doctor revealed that the CCP crimes have been controlled by the military.

Xu Zhen pointed out that since the military is involved, even if investigators are able to enter China, the CCP would still find all kinds of reasons to prevent investigators from collecting evidence. It even dares not to issue our visas. Why is it so afraid? But, looking at it conversely, it is not difficult to see that the CCP feels guilty for the monstrous crimes it has committed.

The Mighty Force of Revealing the Truth is Unstoppable

Sherry Zhang said that since more and more cases of the CCP's brutal persecution and killing of Falun Gong practitioners in the past seven years have been exposed to the public, especially more and more witnesses who have testified to the CCP's atrocities of live organ harvesting, more and more people have been outraged.

Ms. Zhang said that representatives of the CIPFG from Australia, Europe and the United States have tried three times to apply for visas to enter China for investigations. This is only a start. The mighty force of revealing the truth is unstoppable. Many righteous people have now requested to join the CIPFG, including renowned human rights lawyer Gao Zhisheng, Professor Jiao Guobiao, lawyer Yang Zaixin, Professor Sun Wenguang and others. We will reveal the truth to the world, and end the persecution soon.

International Community must be Alert to the CCP Hastily Destroying Evidence

Sherry Zhang said that according to reports from the Mainland and the investigation and verification, since the exposure of the Sujiatun Concentration Camp, the CCP authorities hurriedly produced the "Interim Human Organ Transplant Regulations," but set the date for the regulation to become effective as July 1. It is suspected that the CCP has reserved enough time to destroy the criminal evidence.

Ms. Zhang continued that the investigative results from some areas proved that hospitals and organ transplantation centers in 16 provinces, cities and autonomous regions are operating overtime to perform batches of organ transplant operations. These places include Heilongjiang Province, Liaoning Province, Jilin Province, Beijing, Tianjin, Henan Province, Hebei Province, Hubei Province and Wuhan City, Hunan Province, Shanghai, Zhejiang Province, Yunnan Province, Anhui Province, Shaanxi Province, and Xinjiang Autonomous Region. Hospitals told investigators to be quick if they want to receive organ transplants, and that matching and finding suitable organs can be done in one to two days. They also said that getting a transplant would be difficult after this batch of organs is used up.

It was pointed out by Ms. Zhang that the CCP three times rejected the requests of investigators from the CIPFG to go to China for investigations, which even more clearly shows that the CCP has a guilty conscience. At the same time, mass evidence from investigations has indicated that the CCP is urgently destroying evidence. She called upon the international community to be vigilant, and treat the CCP's deception seriously.

Perpetrators Must be Held Accountable

Sherry Zhang said that the related personnel who have been directly or indirectly involved in this atrocity are at risk right now. They are all within the CCP's scope of evidence destruction. She hopes these people can stop participating in this atrocity out of consideration for human nature and their conscience, and collect and save evidence to cooperate with the investigators' work.

At the same time, she also said that the CIPFG will cooperate with all government organizations, human rights organizations, the media and individuals with conscience and justice to continue making efforts to enter China to conduct a thorough and independent investigation.

Finally, Ms. Zhang emphasized that all perpetrators who have been participating in the persecution will be put on trial as soon as the truth is revealed to the world.

After the horrible discovery of live organ harvesting from Falun Gong practitioners and immediate cremation of bodies to destroy the evidence were made and exposed, on April 4, 2006, the Falun Dafa Association and Minghui founded "The Coalition to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong in China (CIPFG)" (also called "Coalition to Investigate the Persecution").

CIPFG collects information from those willing to come forward. CIPFG asks people who know the truth to further expose the crimes concerning organ harvesting. Time is running out, as the members of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) regime are aggressively destroying evidence and eliminating witnesses who could expose organ harvesting from practitioners before May 1, 2006. Between May 1, 2006 and July 1, 2006, the CCP is planning to execute a group of criminals and harvest their organs. The CCP is trying to maintain the profits derived from organ harvesting, and at the same time trying to set roadblocks to prevent the investigation from being successful. The CCP will do all in its power to ensure that no evidence of organ harvesting from live practitioners can be found. Below is information that came recently to light.

1. Tangshan Steel Cooperation Hospital Staff (in Hebei Province) Performed Over 200 Kidney Transplants

According to relatives of patients, Tangshan Steel Cooperation Hospital has performed over 200 kidney transplants between January 2000 and December 2005.

2. Tianjian Armed Police Hospital Performs Six Kidney Transplants Every Night

An unnamed patient who had kidney failure received a kidney in the Tianjian Armed Police Hospital about a month ago. The patient was told that the organ donor was a young criminal (sex unknown). The patient spent over a month in the hospital and paid about 100,000 yuan for medical expenses. The hospital hurried the patient out of the hospital because it needed the space for additional kidney transplant patients.

The unnamed patient said that the hospital has performed six kidney transplants every night. The Nephrology department has many in-patients. Shortly after the patients receive a kidney, they are sent on their way the minute they showed signs of recovery.

Whether the armed police hospital performs organ transplants of other kind is unknown. We sincerely hope that people who know the truth will further expose the crimes.

 The second steering committee meeting of the Council of Europe in 2006 was held in Strasbourg from April 10-13, 2006. Eleven representatives of the COE raised a motion asking for a hearing on the case which was recently exposed to the public regarding the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) crimes of organ-harvesting from live Falun Gong practitioners, and also demand that the Chinese government open all labor camps to international delegations to conduct independent investigations.

This motion is entitled "Need for a public hearing on organ harvesting in China." The document ID is #10904.

Lately many reports about organ harvesting in communist China have been reaching Europe. It was mentioned in the motion that according to a Reuter's report, the United Nations' torture investigator said that thousands of Falun Gong followers were being held in a Chinese concentration camp, and some had been killed.

The motion also included the following three requests:

Allow the United Nations and other rights organizations to conduct independent investigations of all China's labor camps and other detention facilities where prisoners of conscience are held.

Allow international rights organizations to immediately investigate the conditions of all Falun Gong practitioners and other dissidents held in all labor camps, jails and detention centers.

Allow international organizations to investigate all non-voluntary or undocumented removals and sale of organs from the Chinese people.

It was said at the end of the motion that, "All these considerations show that there is a need for a public hearing on the organ harvesting in China."

This motion was drafted by the Swedish Parliamentarian, Mr. Lindblad, and jointly signed by eleven parliamentarians from Germany, Switzerland, Denmark, Estonia and Greece.

On Tuesday May 2, 2006 at 11:00 a.m., three members of the Christian Defense Coalition and Generation Life knelt in front of the White House to pray for an end to the persecution of Falun Gong in China, and to show solidarity for Falun Gong practitioner Dr. Wenyi Wang, who shouted out to Chinese communist leader Hu during his meeting with Bush at the White House. The three Christian leaders were then arrested and released the same evening.

On Tuesday May 2, 2006 at 11:00 a.m., three members of the Christian Defense Coalition and Generation Life kneel in front of the White House to show solidarity for Dr. Wenyi Wang, who shouted at the White House, and to pray for an end to the persecution of Falun Gong in China.

The three Christian leaders who participated in the peaceful prayer were Rev. Patrick J. Mahoney and his wife Katie of Seattle, WA, along with Brandi Swindell of Boise, ID, who traveled to Washington DC specifically to pray for Falun Gong practitioners.

Prior to their peaceful prayer, chairman of the Christian Defense Coalition Rev. Patrick J. Mahoney made a speech. He said, "We will go there, and kneel and pray in front of the White House for an end to the organ harvesting - which is beyond words as to how despicable it is. We will ask President Bush to drop all charges [against Dr. Wang], and when we are arrested and go to jail, we are standing in solidarity with our sister Dr. Wenyi Wang, and with all the Falun Gong practitioners who are in jail in China."

Chairman of Generation Life Ms. Swindell said, "I was saddened to see faith trampled on in China.

The Mahoneys and Ms. Swindell turned and made their way to the White House gate, where they kneeled in prayer, with signs on their backs showing pictures of Dr. Wenyi Wang, and calls to end organ harvesting of Falun Gong practitioners.

Mahoney, still on his knees, called out to the scores of tourists, explaining why he was there. "Right now in China, peaceful members of Falun Gong are persecuted and their organs harvested. We call upon President Bush to uphold the basic principles that no one should be persecuted, intimidated, or harassed for their religious beliefs."

Five-minutes later, the police gave them one last warning, then handcuffed them. The three Christian leaders shouted in unison, the same words Dr. Wang shouted to the President, "President Bush, stop him from killing!" "President Bush, stop him from persecuting Falun Gong."

The three Christian leaders were released the same evening on May 2, and told Dr. Wang on the phone that during the hours of detention, they were even more worried about Dr. Wenyi Wang and Falun Gong practitioners who are suffering persecution in China, and had been praying for them.

Rev. Mahoney said, "We convey a very specific message: First, stop the persecution against Falun Gong practitioners' freedom of religious belief. Second, President Bush, please support the principle for the founding of America. If Dr. Wenyi Wang were sentenced to jail, it would send out a terrible message to the world: America has not shouldered the responsibility of protecting freedom of religion and the right to freedom. If Dr. Wang is found guilty, it would lead to the Chinese Communist regime intensifying its persecution of Falun Gong and other religious groups."

Rev. Mahoney said, "We request to drop all charges against Dr. Wenyi Wang. When Dr. Wenyi Wang shouted out her appeal, she raised people's awareness of the CCP's terrible crimes of severe human rights abuse and its religious persecution of Falun Gong practitioners. America has been supporting freedom of religious belief, and supported speaking out boldly against the persecution of human rights."

Director of communication in the Christian Defense Coalition Ms. Katie Mahoney said, "We want to speak to China, let these people enjoy the freedom of religious belief. We want to speak to America, resist the most horrible tragedy."

Chairman of Generation Life Ms. Swindell said, "I stand together with Dr. Wenyi Wang and all Chinese people. The persecution that is continuing in China is so appalling, a lady suffering persecution is facing charges for speaking out boldly the unfair treatment she has been subjected to, as an American, I feel shame for this."

Ms. Swindell called upon the American people to quickly wake up, to learn about the horrible human rights abuse taking place in China and the recently revealed appalling atrocities of harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners.

The three Christian leaders said that the persecution of religion is absolutely intolerable in America. Everyone should enjoy the freedom of religion. They hope the American society and people hear their voices, and that they arouse the American people's concerns over the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in China, and the CCP's atrocities of harvesting organs from Falun Gong practitioners. They want all Christians in America to learn about the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in the past seven years, and help stop the persecution.

Several major media outlets in America cover the peaceful prayer protest

It was reported that the three Christian leaders would appear at the "Friends of Wenyi" rally in front of the Washington DC U.S. District Courthouse at 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday May 3, continuing to appeal to American society to pay attention to the CCP's atrocities of persecuting Falun Gong practitioners.

On April 29, 2006, Falun Gong practitioners in Montreal, Canada held a rally in Chinatown's Zhongshan Park to commemorate the seventh anniversary of Falun Gong practitioners' peaceful appeal on April 25, 1999, expose the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) persecution against Falun Gong, and reenact the CCP's atrocities of harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners. They called upon people with conscience and justice from all walks of life to join the Coalition to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong (CIPFG) to conduct a complete investigation into the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in all forced labor camps and prisons throughout China.

Rally in Montreal to commemorate the seventh anniversary of "April 25," calling for a thorough investigation into the persecution of Falun Gong

Ms. Sun, the organizer of the rally said, "On April 25, 1999, ten thousand Falun Gong practitioners went to State Department Appeals Office to clarify the true situation of Falun Gong, because practitioners in Tianjin were beaten and some were arrested. Their peaceful, rational and well-ordered demeanor was practicing the principle of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. However, the CCP insisted on persecuting this group of people who promote themselves according to this principle. During the past seven years, the CCP has constantly used the media to spread lies and frame Falun Gong worldwide, and at the same time covertly carried out a brutal persecution of Falun Gong practitioners."

Spokesman for the rally, Mr. Zhu, said, "In the beginning, Falun Gong practitioners had thought the CCP regime did not know the true situation of Falun Gong. Being responsible to the country, the people and the Party, we used our own experiences and true feeling to clarify the truth to the leaders of the country. But, later we realized that the CCP had known Falun Gong very well, and had long dispatched secret agents to look into Falun Gong. Jiang's jealousy and the CCP's evil nature determined that they insisted on persecuting Falun Gong. When finding no reason to do so, they fabricated lies, created false images to frame Falun Gong, deceive the world's people, incite people's hatred towards Falun Gong, and lead people to commit crimes against Falun Gong. Therefore, Falun Gong practitioners started a seven-year-long peaceful and rational truth clarification about Falun Gong to people from all social strata, calling for an end to the persecution of Falun Gong."

Mr. Zhu said, "Different from previous years, on April 25 this year, Falun Gong practitioners want to take the initiative to stop the persecution, and directly go to investigate the persecution of Falun Gong, gather all righteous strength to thoroughly clear out the root of the crime."

In Face of Constantly Changing Lies, Remain Unchangeable in Truth Clarification

Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Hu, who just finished doing the exercises said, "Today the weather is fine, I feel so pleased to be able to freely practice here. Our sole appeal in the past seven years is to stop the CCP's persecution of Falun Gong, and strive for the right to practice freely. What we have been doing is telling people what Falun Gong is, the persecution situation of Falun Gong, and what was recently revealed about the CCP's harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners before cremating their bodies to destroy the evidence. We have been unremittingly telling the truth to people, the only purpose is to let everyone know that Falun Gong teaches people to follow the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. Falun Gong is good. The seven-year long persecution is villainous, wrong and must be stopped immediately."

Ms. Sun, one of the organizers said, "The purpose for the CCP to concoct lies is to deceive people worldwide, find excuses for its persecution, and lead people to get involved in the persecution of Falun Gong. We constantly expose the CCP's crimes, we want to let people know the true situation, and stay away the evil."

Kind People Testify to the CCP's Crimes of Harvesting Organs from Living Falun Gong Practitioners

At the rally site, a Chinese woman stood for a long time in front of the mock demonstration of the CCP harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners and display boards exposing the persecution. She told the reporter, "What they (Falun Gong practitioners) said is definitely true. I know, I lived near Sujiatun, some of my friends in police system and hospitals know this is true, too cruel, I'm very sad. They (her friends) even more sad, they were in great agony, because some of them witnessed (the persecution.) these (persecution facts exposed by Falun Gong practitioners) are less than one in a thousand of the facts."

She said, "I'm not a Falun Gong practitioner, but I feel there is no way to survive under the CCP's rule, so I came to Canada. I feel some big thing will happen in China." She said that she will return to China when there is freedom in China.

Taking the Initiative to Investigate the CCP's Crimes and Stop the Persecution

The Falun Dafa Association and Minghui/ Clearwisdom website initiated on April 4, 2006, the "Coalition to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong in China" (CIPFG), and issued a notice about the scope of investigation and evidence collection by the CIPFG.

Regarding this, Mr. Zhu said that Falun Gong practitioners will take the initiative to directly investigate the CCP's persecution of Falun Gong, and gather all righteous strength to thoroughly clear out the root of the evil.

It was reported that representatives of the CIPFG Linda Xu, reporter from Sound of Hope in Australia and Ms. Zhou Lei, editor of the German Epoch Times European Branch, both had their visa applications rejected. Reporters Zhang Fen and Xu Zhen from San Francisco Bay Area NTDTV and members of the CIPFG from North America, Australia and Europe formally requested visas from the CCP for the third time on April 25 to go to China for investigation.

Currently the CIPFG members include not only Falun Gong practitioners, but also people from all groups, including media and individuals who show concerns over the persecution of Falun Gong. They include renowned human rights lawyer Gao Zhisheng, Professor Jiao Guobiao and lawyer Yang Zaixin.

Organizer of the rally Ms. Sun said, "Seven-year tireless truth clarification, seven-year expectations, this is the historical choice. We hope more righteous people can join the CIPFG to investigate into the persecution facts and together end the inhuman persecution."

On April 25, 2006, Falun Gong practitioners in Ireland gathered at the Chinese Embassy to protest the Chinese Communist regime's (CCP) seven-year-long persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in China and to remember all practitioners who have died as a result of the persecution.

At 10:00 a.m., outside the Chinese Embassy, Falun Gong practitioners held banners reading "Commemorate the "4.25" Peaceful Appeal" and "Appeal for Justice and Conscience, Stop the Persecution" and posters saying "Chinese Communist Regime Set up Concentration Camps to Persecute Falun Gong."

Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Dai said, "The peaceful appeal on April 25 by tens of thousands of Falun Gong practitioners seven years ago is a cornerstone in the history of China. Take a look at Chinese history, when people were suppressed by the authority in power, they stood up and tried to solve the problem with violence and military force. But Falun Gong practitioners, with great compassion, tolerance and rationality, use peaceful methods to solve the problem."

Falun Gong practitioner Miss Yang said: "Seven years have passed since April 25, 1999. Falun Gong practitioners have never stopped telling people the truth about Falun Gong and the persecution of Falun Gong." As a Falun Gong practitioner, she appealed to the international community and relevant organizations for their concerns and to immediately start investigations of China's forced labor camps and concentration camps where many Falun Gong practitioners are illegally detained.

Falun Gong practitioners introduced that Falun Gong has been spread to over 70 countries, but has only been subjected to persecution in China. The reason is that Jiang Zemin and Luo Gan's group is jealous of the number of Falun Gong practitioners. Additionally, as the CCP's evil nature is echoed by the Jiang and Luo gang, the persecution becomes further intensified. There even occurred bestial acts of harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners before cremating them to destroy the evidence. Practitioners said that the CCP's violent crimes are a challenge to mankind's moral bottom line. People with conscience should all stand up to stop this persecution.

The persecution will stop. Law and history will judge everything done by the evil Chinese Communist regime. Withdrawing from the Chinese Communist Party membership is the only way to save oneself. Kind people who support Falun Gong will have a beautiful future.

According to Falun Dafa Information Center, on April 25, 1999, ten thousand Falun Gong practitioners came to the State Department Appeals Office near Zhongnanhai Compound from different places around the country. They hoped that the authorities would listen to people's concerns and peacefully handle the incident of Tianjin police beating Falun Gong practitioners. On July 20, 1999 however, the CCP launched a persecution campaign against Falun Gong practitioners. As of today, 2872 Falun Gong practitioners have been verified through various civil channels from Mainland China to have died as a result of persecution. This March, related witnesses exposed the CCP's atrocities of having built many concentration camps to harvest organs from living Falun Gong practitioners before cremating their murdered bodies to destroy the evidence.
