 Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Lu Mengxin was born in 1963, and was a lecturer employed by the Northeast Forestry University. He went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong on October 10, 1999, and was arrested by policemen from the Dongli District Department of Harbin City. He was detained for 16 months and sentenced to three years in prison.

Mr. Lu was beaten and had his food taken by other inmates. He was as thin as a skeleton due to starvation. He had scabies all over his body due to bad hygienic conditions. He was transferred to Harbin Prison on March 31, 2001, where he was force-fed while on hunger strike. His wife Xu Wenying (also a practitioner) had to leave home with their less than three year old child to avoid being arrested.

Mr. Lu Mengxin was arrested again early on the morning of April 3, 2005, and detained in the Dongli District Detention Center. He was sentenced to another two years in prison, but the prison rejected him due to his lung problems.

On February 27, 2006, Lu Mengxin died from multi-organ failure as a result of torture in the Wanjia Labor Camp. Details are under investigation.

Around 12 p.m. on April 27, 2006, Falun Gong practitioner Cao Baoyu, 56, was persecuted to death at Guangyang District People's Hospital (Beidajie Hospital) in Langfang City, Hebei Province. At the same time, Falun Gong practitioner Yang Jianpo remains in critical condition from the persecution.

1. Guangyang District 610 Office hides the truth and threatens family members

When Cao Baoyu and Yang Jianpo ended up in critical condition due to the persecution, Langfang City Hospital and Chinese Medicine Hospital officials gave the word and Langfang City Detention Center prepared notifications of their impending release. Alas, Guangyang District 610 office refused to release the notifications to the families, and transferred Cao and Yang to Guangyang District People's Hospital for further persecution. They concealed the truth, and hindered and threatened family members who tried to visit.

April 19, at 7:00 a.m., family members of Cao Baoyu and Yang Jianpo returned to the Guangyang District People's Hospital. Upon their arrival, the director of the local police station, Mr. Zhang told them: "To tell you the truth, these two will be sentenced, and the warrants for their arrest have been delivered to us. They will receive a one or two year sentence. They could be released the minute they pledge that they no longer practice Falun Gong in writing. We are required to follow the country's laws and its processes." The family members told them, "They did not break any law! They now have serious health problems. What you are doing is illegal. Show us your law!" Zhang replied, "You may sue me at the United Nations," and left. A little later, the family members saw Director Liu of Guangyang District Governor Office and they asked, "Whom should we talk to in order to solve this problem? They did not kill anyone or set fires on anything, why should they be treated like this?" Liu answered: "I can't tell you. If you killed or set fires, you may actually be excused. Practicing Falun Gong is more serious than killing or setting fires." Then Liu left without looking back.

At 11:00 a.m. of April 25, when Cao Baoyu's wife arrived at Guangyang District People's Hospital to deliver a change of clothes for her husband, she was held by several people from Guangyang's 610 office. They called for five or six policemen from Guangyang Station, who arrested Cao's wife outside the hospital.

Falun Gong practitioners Cao Baoyu and Yang Jianpo were force fed daily and both their stomachs hemorrhaged. Cao Baoyu also suffered incontinence - he no longer could urinate or have bowel movements. The family members demanded answers from Director Liu of Guangyang District Governor Office, who holds responsibility for the problems caused by the force feeding. Liu answered that they do everything according to the orders from the doctors. In turn, the doctors said that they take their orders from the 610 office. All tried to shirk responsibility and blamed each other.

2. Secretly detained and persecuted even before CCP's public persecution

Cao Baoyu was employed at Langfang City Popes and Pipelines Property Management Office. All his diseases were cured after he began to practice Falun Gong in 1993. Just before the CCP's ban and beginning of the persecution of Falun Gong -- on July 17, 1999 --  Zhang, the chief of Wuqing County Police Department's Internal Security Section called Cao to this office. Cao was questioned about the Falun Gong practice sites. On his way home, the bus he traveled on was stopped. He was arrested and taken to the Wuqing Zhu Zhuang police station. On July 19, the evil CCP began its systematic arrest of Falun Gong practitioners nationwide. That day, Cao Baoyu was transferred to Tianjin City Detention Center where he was secretly detained. His name was changed to "Li Yu".

Tianjin Police Department sentenced Cao Baoyu to a 4-year term without due cause. They charged him with the "crime" of "gathering people and disturbing social order." He suffered inhuman torture at Tianjin City Prison. He was forced to sit on a "small stool," three fingers wide, four fingers high, which could fit into a palm. His health was severely affected. He suffered an abscess of 15x5 cm from which went from his neck and to his back.

Tianjin Prison ordered the Langfang 610 office to arrest Cao, charging him with "not being transformed," and took him to a "brainwashing class," where they continued to persecute him. Because of his family's demands, Cao was taken to a hospital. The exam showed "poisoned by formic acid", also called "cutting head boils." At that time the size of the boil was about 10cm and was infected through to the bones, which had been laid bare. The doctors told the family that there is no cure, even if they would spend tens of thousands of yuan. Given this diagnosis, the Langfang 610 office had to release Cao.

After returning home, Cao Baoyu read Falun Gong books and practiced the Falun Gong exercises. He was close to being fully recovered. On Chinese New Year of 2006, Cao was arrested again when he was clarifying the truth to some government officers. They beat him and broke the blood vessels in his nose. Even after a week his nose was still bleeding when he blew his nose. Two of his upper teeth had come loose from the beatings. He couldn't chew food even after ten days. He also suffered hearing lose due to the beating. Cao Baoyu went on a hunger strike to protest the persecution, and he was released on February 13th. In the morning of February 18th, when Cao was still extremely weak,  Langfang City Police Department, Guangyang Police Station and the National Security Group sent the group leader and six depraved people, along with the chief of Beiwang Police Station to Cao's home. They broke into Cao's house by jumping over the wall and arrested him. They took him to a "brainwashing class," and refused to tell Cao's family members where they had taken him. Langfang City Procuratorate and Police arrested Cao Baoyu shortly after with the excuse of "disturbing social order." Cao died from the persecution on April 27th.

Mr. Cheng Xueshan

Mr. Cheng Xueshan was a Falun Gong practitioner in Jinchuan Village, Jinchuan Township, Tongjiang City of Heilongjiang Province. He was illegally arrested when he was distributing truth-clarification materials on April 5^th, 2005. He was tortured to death just seven days later. (Clearwisdom.net has reported the case, see /emh/articles/2005/5/15/60790.html). More information about the persecution against Mr. Cheng was discovered on the anniversary of his death.

Mr. Cheng Xueshan was illegally imprisoned several times since 1999. He was held in Jiamusi Forced Labor Camp of Heilongjiang Province for one year.

Firmly Practicing Falun Gong and Being Persecuted by the Police Frequently

Cheng Xueshan, was born on November 9^th, 1940. He started practicing Falun Gong at the end of 1996.

After he began practicing Falun Gong, Mr. Cheng Xueshan strictly followed Falun Gong's standard. He inspired his family members to practice Falun Gong. Since then, not only did he gain a healthy body and mind, but his family also became more harmonious. In the winter of 1999, Mr. Cheng Xueshan and his eldest son were illegally imprisoned in Tongjiang City Detention Center. His wife has been illegally imprisoned twice and his house has been ransacked several times since then.

At Tongjiang City Detention Center, when Director Pan slandered Falun Gong, Mr. Cheng Xueshan immediately exposed the lies. Director Pan punished Mr. Cheng Xueshan by putting a 53-pound iron shackle and handhold on him. It was so heavy that Mr. Cheng Xueshan was not able to stand up straight. He was forced to carry this torture instrument for 58 days. Later at the public trial orchestrated by the CCP (Chinese Communist Party), Mr. Cheng Xueshan and several other Falun Gong practitioners shouted, "Falun Dafa is good" while walking in the corridor. Director Pan slammed Mr. Cheng Xueshan's face fiercely and punished him further. Mr. Cheng Xueshan was then sent to Jiamusi Forced Labor Camp.

At Jiamusi Forced Labor Camp, Mr. Cheng Xueshan was first put in solitary confinement for seven days. He was forced to lie on the concrete floor in the cold winter and his body was frozen numb. His whole body developed water retention and he urinated blood. He became extremely weak. Puss, blood and scabies were all over his body. With the exception of his face, his whole body started to fester and he could no longer care for himself. Being afraid of his deteriorating condition, the forced labor camp did not want to keep him any longer. Mr. Cheng Xueshan successfully left the Jiamusi Forced Labor Camp in May 2003.

After returning home, Mr. Cheng Xueshan was quickly recovered throtugh practicing Falun Gong. He often rode a bicycle to other villages to clarify the truth about Falun Gong and the CCP's persecution. Sometimes he distributed materials and sometimes he talked to people face-to-face. One evening after talking to some people, he rode his bicycle home and got lost in the dark. Carrying the bike on his shoulder, he spent several hours crossing ditches before he finally got back to the main road. On market days, he went to distribute truth-clarification materials, talk to people, and shout, "Falun Dafa is good." Anytime he went out or visited friends or relatives, he always clarified the truth to other people, trying to save them.

Illegally Arrested and Tortured to Death in one Week

On April 5^th, 2005, Mr. Cheng Xueshan went to distribute truth-clarification materials and was arrested by policemen at Nongqiao Township in Fuyuan County. He never returned. His family member received a notice on April 12^th, saying that Mr. Cheng "died of myocardial infarction." The time of death was 9:30 a.m. on April 12^th, only seven days after his arrest.

In the afternoon of April 5^th, after Mr. Cheng Xueshan was arrested, Wang Weihua from Jinchun Township Police Station led four people to Mr. Cheng Xueshan's house carrying electric batons and rubber sticks. They forcibly held down Mr. Cheng's wife and his eldest son while ransacking the house.

A few days after, Mr. Cheng Xueshan's family members went to the police station, asking where he was and requesting to send some personal items to him. The policemen were rude and refused to tell them where Mr. Cheng was imprisoned. A week after Mr. Cheng's disappearance, his second son received the notice of his father's death. After hearing the news, Mr. Cheng's wife and his eldest son went to Fuyuan County. There they met Deputy Chief Xu, but Xu deliberately delayed showing them Mr. Cheng Xueshan's body.

Cheng Xueshan's wife and his eldest son were finally led to the morgue at 5 or 6 o'clock that evening. Mr. Cheng Xueshan's body was in a freezer with only the top part of the body visible. As his eldest son wrote in the article, "Remembering My Father," "Father's head was hanging, with eyes closed. He was lying in the freezer. The skin on the left side of his nose was broken. I used my right arm to hold his head. As soon as I lifted up his head his eyes half-opened and then closed. When I saw that I said 'My father is not dead. Father has not died yet!' But in less than two minutes, we were dragged out of the morgue. They didn't allow us to see him any more. I strived to stay there, but four or five policemen dragged me out, sending me to the hotel. It was impossible for us to open the freezer to fully examine his body."

His eldest son said, "Because his body had been in the freezer for such a long time, it was difficult for us to tell whether the dark purple marks on his body were from beatings or from freezing. I saw there were blue and purple wounds on two thirds of his wrists. There was a lump inside his body, to the right of the center of his chest. It would move around when I touched it with my hand. I could not tell whether there were any other wounds or internal injuries." He discovered all these when he rushed into the morgue later, insisting on putting the funeral clothes on his father.

In only one week, a once healthy person, Mr. Cheng Xueshan became a handful of ash. Nothing else was left. He did not even get a chance to see his family a final time. Mr. Cheng's wife was very upset. "This is too ruthless. Such a health person was beaten to death in only a few days."

In the evening of April 5, 2006, Falun Gong practitioner Yang Xuebao from Yuhong District, Shenyang City was reported to authorities when distributing truth clarification materials. He was illegally arrested by Ma Wei, Gu Xin and others from the Weigong Police Station of the Tiexi District Police Department. Later that night, the two police officers and about ten other agents, including Yang Hai from Tiexi Police Department's Nationa Security Group, arrested Yang Xuebao's wife and another practitioner, Li Guanghao, who was visiting the home. Yang Xuebao's two residences were ransacked.

Yang Hai, Li and another officer from Tiexi District Police Department's Nationa Security Group and Gu Xin from Weigong Police Station tortured Li Guanghao in the station. They didn't let him sleep for one day and one night.

On the morning of April 6, Li from Tiexi District Nationa Security Group handcuffed Li Guanghao to the back of a chair and tortured him. Because he could not extort a confession, he threatened Li Guanghao, "It's nothing if I beat you to death, because it'll be counted as suicide! We'll cut out your heart and liver, like at Sujiatun Concentration Camp!"

At 6:00 p.m. on April 6, Gu Xin and other officers from Weigong Police Station sent Li Guanghao and Yang Xuebao to the Tiexi District Detention Center. The detention center authorities refused to accept them because of their injuries from the beatings. Diagnoses at the No. 2 Hospital Affiliated With Shenyang Medical University revealed that Yang Xuebao has heart disease and Li Guanghao had a contusion on his lower back. The two practitioners were later taken back to Tiexi District Detention Center. Li Guanghao held a hunger strike for five days to protest the persecution. He could not walk and was extremely weak. On April 10, his family took him home.

Right now, Yang Xuebao is being held at the Tiexi District Detention Center in Wangjiahezi.

Practitioner Cai Minzhi is being held at the Shenyang City Detention Center.

Falun Gong practitioner Wang Shusheng from Liaoning Province is being held in the 17th Ward of the Shenyang City's 1st Prison. In February 2006, after the guards and inmates beat Mr. Wang, his hearing in both ears declined drastically and his left wrist was broken from the beating. In early April 2006, Wang Shusheng was again tortured and secretly held and abused in a solitary confinement cell of that prison. Faced with groundless persecution, Wang Shusheng went on a hunger strike on April 7. He was force-fed on April 10. His family has made strong requests to meet with him, but the prison authorities have denied their request.

Ms. Wang Junying, age 28, is a practitioner from Huachuan county of Jiamusi city in Heilongjiang province. She resides in the Ruisheng village of the Ruilai district. Ms. Wang began to practice Falun Gong in 1997. Before practicing Falun Gong she suffered hysteria. She spent tens of thousands of yuan for medical treatment, but found no cure.

Soon after practicing Falun Gong, she became healthy. Therefore, she told everyone about the goodness of Falun Gong. On June 6, 2005, she was unlawfully arrested by police officers, Meng Gingsheng and Ning Wei. She was taken to the Huachuan detention center where she was severely beaten by police officer Xu Pengfei. Later, she was taken to Jiamusi city where she was diagnosed with hysteria by the Justice Department. Finally, Ms. Wang was sentenced without due cause to a three-year prison term at Harbin Women's Prison.

1. [Jiling Province] Practitioners Held at the Tiebei Prison Have Been Transferred to the Gongzhuling Prison

Confirmed information received on the morning of April 2, 2006, indicated that about 50 practitioners held in the Teibei Prison in Jilin Province have been transferred to the Gongzhuling City Prison. The authorities didn't explain the reason. The date for the relocation was April 1.

2. [Qingyuan County, Liaoning Province] Seven Practitioners Arrested

Between 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. on March 28, 2006, Fushun City police arrested seven practitioners from Qingyuan County, Fushun City, Liaoning Province, and put them into the Tianqiao Police Station that is specially set up to persecute practitioners in Qingyuan County.

At night, policemen tortured practitioners during interrogation. Some practitioners were beaten. Practitioner Mr. Sun Hongchang was severely injured. He could not walk and just lay on the floor. During the afternoon of March 31, two policemen pulled him into a minivan and sent him to the Dashagou Detention Center in the County.

Practitioner Mr. Li Hengliang was also transferred there.

The evening of March 29 Mr. Wang Qingcai was released after his family paid 5,000 yuan in so-called "deposit money."

On around March 29, Ms. Sui Yinghua was sent to the Dashagou Detention Center for persecution.

The whereabouts of Ms. Huang Yuping, Mr. Zheng Guangfa, and Ms. Jin Guangzhi are unknown. It is said that Ms. Huang's non-practitioner husband was also arrested that night. His whereabouts is also unknown.

3. [Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province] Practitioner Mr. Tang Zengye from the No. 3 Factory Arrested at 10:00 a.m. on April 2, 2006, by the Daqing City Police Department.

4. [Mishan City, Heilongjiang Province] Practitioner Mr. Sun Yishan Arrested

At around 3:00 p.m. on March 16, 2006, four unidentified persons nabbed practitioner Mr. Sun Yishan of Chengzihe Township, Mishan City. They ransacked Mr. Sun's home and found some unbound Falun Gong books. Afterwards they called Li Gang from the National Security Team at the Mishan City Police Department. Li Gang and other officers confiscated all Falun Gong materials. Mr. Sun escaped, but has to live in exile to avoid arrest.

5. [Panjin City, Liaoning Province] Abuse of Mr. Sun Jian and Mr. Hou Yunfei in the Nanshan Prison in Jinzhou City

Mr. Sun Jian was deprived of sleep at the Nanshan Prison for over 25 days. He lost several teeth from beatings. Though he was a young man in his 30s and weighed 220 pounds when he went to prison, he now looks like a skinny old man. He could not even straighten his back.

Mr. Hou Yunfei has been moved out of the prison hospital and sent to the Prison Electric Furnace Factory for forced labor. He is still in poor health and cannot do much work.

6. [Liaoning Province] Practitioners Mr. Tian Yunhai and Ms. Zang Yumei Secretly Sentenced in a Dalian City Court

At 9:00 a.m. on February 15, 2006, practitioners Mr. Tian Yunhai and Ms. Zang Yumei were secretly tried in the Ganjingzi District Court in Dalian City. No relatives were notified and the verdict is unknown.

7. [Zhaoyuan City, Shandong Province] Practitioner Ms. Wang Yu'e Arrested

During the evening of March 29, 2006, practitioner Ms. Wang Yu'e of Nansunjia Village, Canzhuang Town, was taken away. Authorities from the Canzhuang Town Police Station did this because Ms. Wang had posted Falun Gong truth-clarifying materials. She is presently being held in Zhaoyuan City's Linglong Brainwashing Center.

8. [Zhuozhou City, Hebei Province] Practitioner Ms. Wang Huilan Arrested; Goes on a Six-Day Hunger Strike and Fined a Thousand Yuan

During the morning of March 22, 2006, agents Zhang Weiqiang and Yang Yugang from the Nationa Security Group in the Zhuozhou City Police Department arrested practitioner Ms. Wang Huilan from Zhuozhou City and ransacked her house. She went on a hunger strike for six days. Police extorted 1000 yuan from her family and released her later.

9. [Heilongjiang Province] Practitioner Ms. Xiao Xue Arrested

At past 9:00 a.m. on April 2, 2006, personnel from Daqing City's Longguang Police Station and from the city's police department arrested practitioner Ms. Xiao Xue in the Longnan Shiji Jiayuan Community.

10. [Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province] Practitioner Tang Zengye Arrested at His Own School

Around 10:00 a.m. on April 2, 2006, personnel from the Longnan Police Station arrested practitioner Mr. Tang Zengye from Daqing City. He had his own Drawing School in the Shiji Jiayuan Community. They said he was arrested on a "business law" violation. It is said that they followed Mr. Tang for several days.

11. [Xuchang City, Henan Province] The 3rd Detention Center Aids and Abets the Brutal Mistreatment of Practitioner Mr. Xiao Zhentong

Personnel from the 3rd Detention Center in Xuchang City treated practitioners most cruelly. Shi Baolong, the group head; Xu Shuiwang, the team chief; Nie Long, a drug abuser; and others criminals often tortured practitioner Mr. Xiao Zhentong, a farmer from Yanlianzhuang Village, Juntai Town, Yuzhou City, only because Mr. Xiao shouted "Falun Dafa is great" at dinner time. They beat practitioners Ma Fei and Chen Shaomin every day. They severely beat or shock practitioners' ankles. Practitioners were covered with bruises.

12. [Anyang City, Henan Province] Ms. Zhang Daike Arrested and Her Son Implicated

Practitioner Ms. Zhang Daike from Anyang City, Henan Province, was arrested on March 1, 2006, when she was taking care of her husband in a hospital. More than 20 policemen suddenly broke in and ransacked her house in her absence. They found some truth-clarifying materials at her home and then arrested her in the hospital. She is currently being held at a detention center in the city. Ms. Zhang's employers stopped paying her pension and also suspended her son's salary.

13. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Practitioner Ms. Ning Yuying Transferred to the Masanjia Forced Labor Camp

In December 2004, practitioners Ms. Ning Yuying; Ms. Qin Cuixia; Ms. Zhang Wenhua; and Ms. Liu Lin, Liu Chengjun's sister from Shenyang City, were arrested when they were making truth-clarifying materials in Beijing's Tongzhou District. Ms. Ning was sentenced to 10 years of imprisonment in December 2005. She was secretly transferred to the Masanjia Forced Labor Camp in Shenyang City in early 2006. Information about the other practitioners arrested with her is not clear.

14. [Beijing] The Liu Xianglang Couple from Tsinghua University Arrested and Their Whereabouts Unknown

It is known that during the evening on March 19, 2006, Fu Hongyi and Li Jingtao from the No.1 Section of the Haidian District Police Department led more than 10 officers and broke into the home of the Ms. Liu Xianglan couple at Tsinghua University. They took away Ms. Liu Xianglan, her husband, and a visitor. They ransacked their home and confiscated a computer. Their whereabouts are so far unknown.

15. [Beijing] Practitioner Mr. Bao Weizhong of Tsinghua University Has Been Missing Since November 2005.

16. [Beijing] Policemen from Jinzhan Township's Chaoyang District Persecute Practitioners

After Jinzhan Township Police Department agents received the order from their superiors, they assigned Jin Liandong from the township's 610 Office, police officer Tao Yongqiang, and security guards from West Village to persecute practitioners. They promised that anyone who reports practitioners would be rewarded and their information would be kept secret.

18. [Beijing] Practitioner Ms. Zhan Aiping and Chao Transferred to the No.7 Section of the Beijing Police Department

Practitioners Ms. Zhan Aiping and Chao from the Haidian District of Beijing have been locked in the Haidian District Detention Center. It was reported that they have recently been transferred to the No.7 Section of the Beijing Police Department for further torture.

19. [Hebei Province] Practitioners Detained at Shijiazhuang City Forced Labor Camp Brutally Beaten

Personnel from Shijiazhuang City Forced Labor Camp (Male Team) forced steadfast practitioners Mr. Zhang Haiduo, Mr. Zhao Wei, Mr. Wang Shengbiao, Mr. Zhang Sanxins and Mr. Zhang Wenqiang to sit facing walls for a long time. Prisoners were ordered to watch them.

In the beginning of June, police guards Bian Shuqiang, Dong Xinguo and Zhang Li used a rubber tube to brutally beat about seven practitioners. They included Mr. Zhang Jianwen, Mr. Lu Feng, Mr. Wang Bingjunm and Mr. Ma Huijun. These practitioners had announced the invalidity of their three statements. At the same time, the officials transferred about 10 prisoners from another team to reinforce the persecution.

20. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Mr. Wang Ruide Detained and Money Extorted from His Family

Mr. Wang Ruide is a practitioner from Bozhuang Village, Mu Village, the Fangzi District, Weifang City, Shandong Province. He makes a living by transporting bricks. On March 24, 2006, someone reported him when he was clarifying the truth in Zhuli Town. Agents from the Zhuli Town Police Department "illegally detained" him and impounded his vehicle at the Fangzi District Police Department.

21. [Gaomi City, Shandong Province] Retiree Ms. Li Hongxiang Sentenced to Three Years of Forced Labor

Practitioner Ms. Li Hongxiang retired from the Gaomi City Rubber Factory. In the morning on March 14, 2006, four policemen arrested her from her home and searched her house. Afterwards, they sent her to the Gaomi Detention Center. On the morning of March 29 she was transferred to the Wangcun Forced Labor Camp for a three-year term.

22. [Shanxi Province] Practitioner Mr. Wang Baoshan Incarcerated in the Houma City Detention Center

Prior to the CCP's Two Conferences, Luxi Police Station head Jing Jiangang instructed Zhao Jianlin to track and arrested practitioner Mr. Wang Baoshan. They confiscated Mr. Wang's computer, printer, MP3, cell phone, and truth-clarifying materials. Mr. Wang is still being held at the Houma City Detention Center.

23. [Fujian Province] Fuzhou City Education Bureau Officials Again Force Students to Slander Falun Gong

A certain primary school held an activity called 'anti-cult hand by hand' to slander Falun Gong. The students were required to answer questions according to the booklet containing slanderous remarks about Falun Gong.

24. [Chongqing] Authorities Try to Accelerate the Persecution of Falun Gong practitioners

A reliable source reported that the police department, the National Security Bureau, and all levels of the regime's departments in Chongqing City plotted to launch a large scale raid of Falun Gong practitioners in March and April 2006. They planned to search houses and confiscate all Falun Gong books and truth-clarifying materials, in violation of the Chinese constitution. They even prohibit practicing the exercises at home. The order has been issued to all town and village regime departments.

25. [Yuci City, Shanxi Province] Practitioner Mr. Tang Huafeng Arrested

At 9:00 a.m. on March 2, 2006, agents from the 610 Offices in Yuci City and Shanxi Province colluded with many policemen and illegally arrested Mr. Tang Huafeng, who was teaching. They also searched his house and confiscated his computer, Falun Gong books, and truth-clarifying materials. One month has passed, but no one knows his circumstances and his family members are forbidden to see him.
