(Clearwisdom.net) Mr. Chuo Dianjiu, who was a teacher from Faku County, Liaoning Province, has been severely persecuted because of his determination not to give up his belief in Falun Gong. In 1999, Mr. Chuo was illegally sentenced to forced labor for going to Beijing to appeal for Dafa. At Longshan Forced Labor Camp in Shenyang City, he was severely tortured, including being shocked for a long time with electric batons. In 2004, he was once again sentenced to forced labor, where he was forced to do extensive hard labor.

On July 20, 1999, the Chinese Communist Party started to persecute Falun Gong. Mr. Chuo Dianjiu went to the provincial government to appeal for Dafa and clarify the truth. He was returned to his hometown, where the public security bureau, his employer, and the education board regularly threatened him. They also tried to force him to sign a guarantee statement not to practice Falun Gong.

In October 1999, the persecution escalated. On October 19, Mr. Chuo again went to Beijing to appeal for Dafa and clarify the facts, in accordance with his rights to religious freedom and the freedom to appeal granted in the Chinese Constitution. However, in Beijing he was arrested, escorted back to his local area, and detained at Faku County Detention Center after a 2-day detention. Five days later, he was sent to the Longshan Forced Labor Camp in Shenyang City.

At that time, Longshan Forced Labor Camp held more than one hundred Dafa practitioners. Every day, they were tortured to a varying degrees. Very often, we heard the sounds of people being beaten and shocked with electric batons. Mr. Chuo was severely tortured because he was determined to study the Fa and do the exercises. A guard named Wang was in charge. A group of people rushed over and pushed Mr. Chuo to the floor, stomped on his head, torso, hands, legs, and used more than ten electric batons to shock him until they ran out of charge. His head, cheeks, neck, lower back, hands and legs were severely bruised. The scars from the electric batons can still be clearly seen today, nine years later. Later on, he was again tortured by the team leader with the last name of Ma. Ma used high-powered electric batons to knock Mr. Chuo down. His entire body was shaking. He also had breathing difficulties and almost fainted.

One month later, Mr. Chuo was taken to the brainwashing center at the Faku County Detention Center. Those who participated in the forced brainwashing included Wu Fenglin, Liu Guihua, Zhang Hongxi, guards from the detention center, and staff of the public security bureau and government. Steamed cornbread and frozen cabbage soup with no oil or salt made up their daily diet. They were never allowed to have enough to eat. Mr. Chuo was held here for almost three months. He was released and returned home after he had almost five thousand yuan extorted from him.

On April 13, 2004, Mr. Chuo Dianjiu was giving out information exposing the persecution when he was reported to the police. Mr. Chuo was arrested and taken to the Shiqiao Police Sub-station. The police handcuffed him to a chair, and then they kicked him in the stomach and punched him in the nose. As a result, Mr. Chuo almost stopped breathing and went into shock.

Later on, he was again put into the detention center and forced to do hard labor. During the twenty days he was there, he dropped about twenty pounds in weight. During this time, the money and clothing that his family sent over were seized.

On May 10, 2004, Mr. Chuo was sentenced to forced labor for two and a half years and taken to the notorious Zhangshi Forced Labor Camp in Shenyang City. At Zhangshi Labor Camp, he was tortured by Shi Fengyou, Yu (the team leader), and Song (the instructor). In November, the Zhangshi Camp was dismantled and rebuilt. Mr. Chuo was transferred to the Shenxin Forced Labor Camp. At the labor camp, every day he was forced to do hard labor from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., and sometimes till midnight or even wee hours of the morning. In November 2005, his term ended and he was released.

In March 2006, Mr. Chuo returned to work. The 610 Office of Faku County still persecuted him by reducing his salary by three grades. His supervisors also monitored him and did not schedule regular work for him.

This persecution also caused great harm to Mr. Chuo Dianjiu's family. When he was in the forced labor camp, his mother died while under great mental strain from his son's incarceration. His teenage child could not endure the stress and dropped out of school intermittently. Even his elder sister was implicated. Once the police and the principal of the Faku County Vocational High School went to search his home without a warrant. They also went to search Mr. Chuo's elder sister's home.

Mr. Chuo Dianjiu started practicing Falun Gong before the persecution started in1999. Before he started to practice, he suffered from heart, lung, liver, and stomach diseases. After he started practicing Falun Gong in1999, one week later, his illnesses disappeared and he felt very energetic. However, after the persecution started, Mr. Chuo Dianjiu was sentenced to forced labor twice and continues to be persecuted.
