(Clearwisdom.net) From June 26 to June 28, 2009, the annual Mind-Body-Spirit Festival took place in Brisbane, Australia, at the RNA Show Grounds. This was the second year in which Falun Gong practitioners took part in the exhibit, and were widely popular and welcomed by people of all ages.

Displays at the Falun Gong booth included many photographs portraying the spreading of Falun Gong around the world. Many people stopped by the booth to watch practitioners demonstrate the five sets of exercises, and lined up to obtain information pamphlets. Some people were greatly interested in the practice, and wanted to learn more about local exercise sites. Others had heard of the persecution in China, and inquired for more details about the persecution.

When practitioners demonstrated the exercises, a number of people expressed that they could feel the energy on practitioners' bodies. A young man from the Sunshine coast who practiced a type of Tibetan Buddhism watched the demonstrations for a long time, and said he could feel the energy of the exercises, before asking for information about the practice sites and expressing he would like to learn Falun Gong.

A young woman from Sydney had learned Falun Gong many years ago, and upon meeting with practitioners once again, she said she would like to come back to the practice.

Many children at the exhibit were greatly interested when they saw the Falun Gong exercises, and brought their parents to the front of the booth. A little boy took his mother's hand and earnestly told his mother about the persecution of Falun Gong happening in China. Another mother said that his son "could see words in front of his eyes", and asked whether children could also practice Falun Gong.

When a practitioner in a golden exercise suit walked past other exhibition booths, people at those booths would smile at her warmly, and were very interested in learning about the truth of Falun Gong. They told the practitioner, "Hello, Falun Dafa,", as well as "You look so beautiful!" and, "You make people feel you are full of joy!"

Throughout the three-day exhibit, Falun Gong was well received and highly praised.

The Mind-Body-Spirit Festival was established as an annual event 1989. It has become one of the most popular festivals in Australia, with a long standing history. The aim of the event is to help more people find better health, both physically and spiritually.
