Solemn Declaration
In 2009, Falun Gong's Master gave me a chance to understand Falun Gong. Through studying Dissolving the Party Culture and the "Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party," I have gained a new understanding of the CCP.
The CCP has committed outrageous crimes. Now I know the true face of the CCP, and have decided to break away from the it. I also very much admire Falun Gong practitioners, and truly understand the beauty of Falun Gong.
Before 1999, I had practiced Falun Gong. But after the CCP started to persecute Falun Gong, due to my own selfishness and being a CCP member, I did a lot things against Dafa and Master. After thinking about this deeply, I am now deeply regretful. I decided to write down everything I have said and done in the past.
In 2000, I believed the CCP's propaganda, and did not allow my wife and son to go to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong. I beat my wife and damaged Falun Dafa books, and threatened to leave them. On two occasions in 2000, I reported to police when Falun Gong practitioners distributed fliers. This resulted in their being persecuted and suffering mentally and physically. It seriously harmed their family members.
In 2001, I wrote articles to defame and attack Falun Dafa twice. In 2003, I told our residential committee that I would send my wife to the brainwashing center. As a result, she had to leave home and lived as a homeless person for a long time. She has suffered a lot. The above is what I have done. I truly realize my wrongdoings and have decided to correct them. I want to apologize to Falun Dafa practitioners whom I have harmed, and declare solemnly that all of my past words and deeds were unfair to Dafa and Master and are entirely null and void. From now on, I will support Dafa to make up for my wrongdoings.

Solemn Declaration
My job is to keep the community clean and take care of garbage. I often tore up Falun Dafa fliers in the past. Now I understand the truth of Falun Dafa; I know Falun Dafa is to save people. I will not do that again. I declare solemnly that all of my past words and deeds that were unfair to Dafa and Master are entirely null and void. I believe Falun Dafa is good and support Dafa to make up for my wrongdoings.
