My Experiences with Morning Exercise
(Clearwisdom.net) Late at night, I can join in doing the exercises with other practitioners around the world at 3:50 a.m. Beijing time. Teacher said,
"Scriptures cultivate your mind, Exercise tempers your body". ("Becoming One" from Hong Yin)
This encouraged me and has enabled this woman in her seventies to continue my morning exercise for more than a year. It has allowed me to experience the manifestation of Dafa's wonders.
When I first joined the morning exercise routine, I would either wake up too early or oversleep. But in my heart I kept thinking of what Teacher said:
"Cultivating gong has a path mind is the way, On the boundless sea of Dafa hardship is your ferry." ("Falun Dafa" from Hong Yin)
It wakes me up and allows me to do the exercises in a happy mood. Silence reigns at 4:00 am. Everything is calm and quiet, and my family members are not disturbed. If I do the first four sets first and then do the meditation, my mind usually calms down quickly. After I work my legs into the double lotus position, I can feel my entire body surrounded by a great energy field. In the past when I would do that exercise, my mind would wander and be flooded with various thoughts, but now the thoughts gradually clear up. Instead, I see bright lights that expand from a small area and gradually become huge. Feelings of joy and peace swell up inside me and expand broadly and deeply into the blue sky. My body feels weightless, the warmth surges through my entire body and my palms feel hot. A phenomenon has appeared during the last two months that I have never experienced during the last ten years. It feels as if my body were resting on flower petals, a great ball of energy wraps around me, and a colored ribbon dances in front of me. The ribbon then turns into a flower shape and then flowers appear. The phenomenon continues for a long time before it disappears.
I consider myself very lucky to have been able to practice Dafa for the last twelve years. I don't have any aches and pains, nor have I had other health issues common to people in their seventies. I have a straight back and good posture, and I am an energetic, healthy person.
