(Clearwisdom.net) Many people in China have been poisoned by the Chinese regime's propaganda and lies and therefore still do not know the truth about the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in China. However, many Chinese were very touched after watching the Shen Yun DVD. Below are some examples my wife and I have encountered.
After watching the Shen Yun DVD, a couple who are both Party officials were very moved and recommended the show to a relative. The relative exclaimed, "It was so beautiful." They also resented the fact that the Chinese regime has been persecuting Falun Gong. Several days later, they wrote statements to withdraw from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), indicating that they did not want to have anything to do with the CCP, and they choose to be on the side of justice.
A young girl used to believe the CCP propaganda because she was deeply poisoned. Just hearing someone mention Falun Gong would really frighten her. After she got a hold of a copy of the Shen Yun DVD, she watched it with her aunt. She felt uneasy when she put the DVD in her computer drive. However, as they watched it, what they saw was so pure, beautiful, and serene that they felt like they were in a fairyland. They were very happy to have learned the truth.
One day a vegetable vendor watched the Shen Yun DVD along with his family and a relative who happened to visit him. The relative thought the show was so beautiful that he wanted to take the DVD with him so he could show it to his friends and relatives. It took some persuasion for the vegetable vendor to part with the DVD and give it to his relative.
There was also another lady who, after accepting the Shen Yun DVD, said, "I'm going to let my whole family see Shen Yun's performance."
One time when we visited a village, the villagers took all the DVDs we had brought with us. Those who did not get one said, "Why didn't you bring more DVDs with you?"
Now people are circulating the DVDs in our local area, and they have all praised Shen Yun. Those who have already seen the Shen Yun show all smile and expresse their admiration whenever they see practitioners. Shen Yun's artistic presentation of pure truthfulness, compassion, and beauty is cleansing and awakening the souls of the Chinese people.
