Such A Show Is Rare!

Ms. Janin, teacher of Medicine and Mr. Tannet were captivated by the grace and beauty of the depiction of 5000 years of traditional Chinese culture in the performances. Ms. Janin said she particularly liked the performance titled "Mongolian Chopsticks," "I loved the Mongolian dances with the chopstick and everything that pertains to the young women's gracefulness and [how they dance] with the ribbons."

Ms. Janin reflected on the effect of the overall show, "It's nice to see, and I think this is an initiative that we need to be able to continue because it gives the essence of the Chinese culture."

Mr. Tannet explained, "This is something we rarely see in Paris, this is a marvelous culture that we really are discovering."

He had been to China two years ago and had seen many things, however he thought the Shen Yun performances to be of very high caliber, and not to be compared. "I find this is something wonderful and extremely professional." "For us in France, we need to discover things about Asia. We have many nice shows here, but I would say that such a show is rare. This kind of show is rare in France -- so to discover this aspect is so rare here."

Mr. Tannet was particularly moved by the musical pieces, "The individual musical pieces really had an effect on me, especially the baritone's high quality." He was talking about baritone Qu Yue who sang "Spreading Sweet Dew."

Mr. Tannet said that his favorite performance was "Knowing the True Picture Offers Ultimate Hope," "I loved the final piece, which I found stunning!

Mr. Storise was quite surprised with the world's only orchestra that embraces both Western and Chinese instruments together. "I really enjoyed the mix of classical music and Chinese instruments, it's very pretty."

Astonishing Spirituality

Amongst the audience was Cécile who has worked in management positions for some of the finest luxury hotels in and around Paris. Cécile eloquently expressed the delight she experienced from watching the show, "It's a surprise, the spirituality is astonishing! Since my childhood I have always dreamed about China, I've listened to Chinese music, I liked learning about Chinese history. I like the Chinese instruments, the erhu, the gong, all the instruments. I've had this image of China. In the second part I found a message, the essential message. It's the heart and soul of China! Its a universal message of humanity and so I really have to say 'bravo'!"

The Whole World Needs This!
