(Clearwisdom.net) On January 7, 2009, officers from the National Security Team of Yi County Police Department, Baoding City, Hebei Province and the Shanbei Township Police Station, Yi County, broke into Ms. Li Yunxia's home in Linquan Village, Beishan Township. They arrested her without showing a warrant and then detained her at the Yi County Detention Center.
Ms. Li Yunxia, 40, has been persecuted several times for practicing Falun Gong. The police from the National Security Team of Yi County Police Department and Shanbei Township Police Station arrested her in 2004 and put her into Balizhuang Forced Labor Camp, Baoding City. During the three years she was there, Ms. Li Yunxia was tortured badly. She was finally allowed to go home in 2007.
During the Olympic Games in 2008, police from the Shanbei Township Police Station came to Ms. Li Yunxia's home to harass her many times. On January 1, 2009, they harassed her again, and then, on January 7, arrested her at 7:00 in the evening.
