(Clearwisdom.net) Recently, Mr. Chen Qing, a Falun Dafa practitioner from Dougong Town, Neihuang County, Henan Province was sentenced to 11 years of imprisonment by the local court after he had been held in custody for one and a half years. He is now being held in the prison in Xinmi City. At the same time, another practitioner was sentenced to 14 years of imprisonment.
Mr. Chen is about 30 years old. He is widely recognized as a good person. As a Falun Dafa practitioner, he has never been at odds with others or done anything against the law. However, because of his belief in Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance and his efforts to clarify the truth about Falun Dafa to people, he was subjected to persecution. In July 2007, a group of officers from the Neihuang Police Department and the Dougong Police Station ransacked his home, arrested him and took away many of his personal belongings, including a newly-bought vehicle, which they did not return.
Mr. Chen's wife has been forced to leave her home to avoid persecution and his daughter and son are living by themselves without their parents at their side. His wood processing business and crops were abandoned.
