(Clearwisdom.net) The Divine Performing Arts (DPA) International Company staged the second showing of its Chinese New Year Spectacular at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium on New Year's Eve day.

"I liked the female and male singers. I also liked the traditional content supported by the high-tech backdrops. The songs moved me deeply. The singers are all highly accomplished. The music and words really stirred my heart. I wish they would have sung more songs," Mr. Howell said.
Ms. Howell, a teacher, joined in the conversation: "This show is rich in spiritual connotation and it's really good. The show inspired my soul and encouraged people to cherish each other."
She continued, "What impressed me most was the story about a family in which one of the dancers flew to the Heavens. ("Heaven Awaits Us Despite Persecution") That was really good."
Mr. Howell thought it was excellent that the DPA has taken on the mission of promoting traditional Chinese culture destroyed during the Cultural Revolution.'
"This is a very clever way to do that--we need people to carry forward the fine traditions."
