Change human notions, save sentient beings
For ancient reasons, my family had a conflict with another relative and they didn't talk to each other for dozens of years. I thought that as a Dafa disciple that assists Master in Fa-rectification, why could I not clarify the truth and save them?
From the Fa, I understand that practitioners have no enemies, and all living beings are relatives of Master. Through Fa study and consistently looking inward to find my shortcomings, I found that it was my preconceived notions that blocked me. I wondered, "Would she listen to me? Would she report me?" My fear and attachments to selfishness, jealousy, and other things that a practitioner needs to get rid of were all there, but I was not aware of them before. Even though I am cultivating compassion, evil existed within. I made up my mind to get rid of all attachments: I must exhibit a practitioner's manner and correct myself. I took the initiative to greet the older relative and explain the truth to let her so that she would know the greatness of Dafa. I made up my mind to let her whole family know the truth and be saved.
Two years ago, this older relative passed away. I took this as a good opportunity to save the whole family of dozens of members. I prepared "truth-clarifying" materials and some gifts according our to customs. I sent righteous thoughts before departing, eliminating all evil factors that were blocking the salvation of sentient beings. With Master's mercy and strength, everyone I talked to withdrew from the Communist Party. No one refused to listen. The whole family chose a bright future and expressed gratitude for being saved by Dafa. Adding in the villagers that joined in that day, more than 90 people withdrew from the Communist Party.
Cultivating Myself in the Process of Saving Sentient Beings
From my personal cultivation point of view, faith in Master and the Fa imbues the entire cultivation process. That is, the views that a practitioner holds toward the Fa goes from perceptual knowledge to rational knowledge. Here is one example that happened in the summer two years ago.
One day my younger cousin called and told us that his 79-year-old mother was seriously ill and was in the city's first-class hospital. Doctors diagnosed her with heart disease. His family was about to prepare for her funeral. They prepared her clothing, and other details for the funeral. They asked us to go for a last meeting with her. I knew that nothing that happens to a practitioner is accidental. The most important thing was to let his whole family and relatives know the truth.
I prepared truth-clarifying materials to bring to the hospital. My dying aunt lay still, unmoving. Her eyes didn't even blink. She could not talk. Her breathing was very shallow. The doctor told us that her condition was critical and she could die any minute.
I wanted to let her know "Falun Dafa is good" before she left, so I bent down and whispered in her ear, "Aunt, I have come to see you. All you need to do is recite 'Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness- Compassion-Forbearance is good.'" My aunt made some noise to indicate that she had heard. Afterwards I clarified the truth outside the ward to her children. That afternoon, my aunt started to have diarrhea. The next day, she unexpectedly sat up and used the restroom by herself. On the third day, she could move around and was permitted to leave the hospital. Her children and relatives all said that Dafa is so magnificent. They never saw anyone with such a serious illness recover. Thanks to Master, her family, totaling 27 people, old and young, men and women, all withdrew from the Communist Party.
Later on I talked about this with a retired 80 year-old doctor. He said that even for young people with a large amount of damage to their cardiac muscle to make a recovery like this was unprecedented.
On the second day of the Chinese New Year the following year, I went to my aunt's to visit her. As soon as we parked our car at the door, she came out quickly. Her smile glowed with health and happiness. I said, "Aunt, Happy New Year!" She replied loudly, "'Falun Dafa is good! Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good!'" I am sincerely happy for her and her whole family. It is obvious that Dafa manifested its power and it is Master who saved her family. This year my aunt turned 82 and is very healthy.
Saving all beings is our prehistoric, grand wish. We have followed Master and passed the toughest period with all kinds of difficulties. The closer we are to our goals, the more vigorous efforts we need to make. We must strive to do well in the three things, reach consummation, and return with Master.
This is my personal experience and understanding; please mercifully point out any mistakes.
