(Clearwisdom.net) A practitioner had some observations on other practitioners' truth-clarification efforts when he went abroad on a tour. Here is his feedback.
In China, when people go on a trip, they usually join a tour group. However, the staff in the travel agency, including the tour guides, instill lots of propaganda and lay down many obstacles for the Chinese who want to learn facts about Falun Dafa. They tell the tourists, "Once you are abroad, do not take any material from Falun Gong people nor pay any attention to them. They are all just Chinese people who have a hard time making a living and are earning a few dollars an hour by distributing flyers." There are many truth-clarification efforts taking place at tourist spots in Singapore, New Zealand, Korea, and Australia. Because of the lies told by the tour agencies and guides, people have little chance to get in touch with materials that clarify the truth.
However, one of the tourist spots clearly gave people a big jolt. The difference between this spot and the others was that along with the Chinese practitioners, there were westerners telling people the facts about Falun Dafa, and they included young ones as well as elderly ones. Some of the westerners could speak Chinese, some could not, but they were all distributing flyers. The Chinese tourists were pondering: "Why are there westerners distributing flyers and helping Falun Gong?" They thought that westerners could not be living in poverty and be distributing flyers to earn the few dollars each hour. This, to a certain extent, helped people see that they had been misled and it made it easier for them to realize the facts about Falun Gong.
The practitioner's suggestion is that we try to encourage more western practitioners join the teams distributing Falun Dafa materials.
