(Clearwisdom.net) Frantic crowds, whipped into an emotional frenzy by instigators hired by New York Chinese Consulate officials, have harassed, intimidated, and even violently attacked Falun Gong practitioners on the streets of Flushing, New York since May 17, 2008. Flushing is a primarily Chinese suburb of New York City, located in the borough of Queens. Local Chinese people who understand what is going on have begun to express their resentment over the ruthless and violent behavior.

Flushing resident A: "I am not a Falun Gong practitioner, I live nearby. I think Falun Gong truly follows the principles of 'Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance.' But for another group of Chinese, it is said that the Chinese Consulate manipulates them behind-the-scenes. I'm not quite clear about this situation. But regarding their beating people, I think they violate the American Constitution, and are against freedom of speech in the U.S. so in this point, I'm disgusted against these Chinese who beat others."

Flushing resident B: "I've noticed that the people who come to make trouble are not decent people. Taking a look at their facial expression, eyebrows, and eyes, they came to make trouble. Who else would carry a Chinese flag on the street every day?"

Mr. Ke was very angry. He said, "The U.S. is not under the rule of the Communist Party. People here have their own government. They should go back to China if they want the Communist Party. We here in the U.S. do not welcome the Communist Party."

Why does the Chinese Consulate spread rumors that Falun Gong practitioners interfere with earthquake disaster relief? Mr. Yin said, "The Chinese Consulate has got used to doing such deeds, and instigating their accomplices to do it. I've listened to the recording of Peng Keyu. The U.S. emphasizes rule of law. If someone beats others, he should be arrested and sent back to China. Some of them do not have identities, and were smuggled into the U.S."

Mr. Yin thinks that, "The CCP frames Falun Gong because it intends to distract the public focus. Many of the CCP's corrupt officials have done things that have led people in the disaster area to turn against the government, this is for sure."

George, technical director of an hi-tech company said, "In the land of the U.S., it is intolerable that innocent people are beaten for expressing their own opinions." George continued, "A friend of mine came to the U.S. from China recently, he is a senior manager of a company. He told me that many fundraising drives in China are corrupt. Most of the money donated was swindled by government officials. He said he himself organized a donation drive. He collected 670,000 yuan in donations and sent the money to the disaster area. I asked him whom he had sent the donation to. He said he had sent the money to Falun Gong practitioners in the disaster area. He said Falun Gong practitioners are the only group of people that he can trust (they can deliver money and goods to the earthquake victims)."
