(Clearwisdom.net) In the morning of May 14, 2006, practitioners from Queensland, Australia assembled on the banks of the Noosa River to celebrate World Falun Dafa Day. It happened to be the Mother's Day, so there were many families in attendance. The big stage in the area was decorated by practitioners. The big Falun Dafa banner was shining in the sun. Many paper lotus flowers were hung from the ceiling. The English and Chinese banners of "Falun Dafa is Good" and "Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance" were hung on both sides of the stage.
Many people enjoyed practitioners' performances. Some of them stayed from beginning to end and told practitioners: "Thank you very much for the excellent performances."
Performance by "Waist Drum Team"
Many children came to practitioners' booth to learn how to make paper lotus flowers. Led by their children, many adults also came. While teaching how to make lotus flowers, practitioners also introduced Falun Gong to them.
After the demonstration of exercises, several people learned the exercises. A young boy imitated young practitioners meditating.
A reporter from Channel 9 videotaped the performance by the "Waist Drum Team" and other performances. The activity successfully ended in a happy atmosphere.
