At 4 p.m. on February 11, 2006, Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Tai Hui was arrested by policemen from the Mengla County Police Department on the train from Mengla County to Kunming City, Yunnan Province and has been detained in the county police department.

At 10:30 a.m. the next day, more than twenty policemen stormed into the home of Ms. Tai Hui's elder sister, Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Tai Yan, and ransacked the place. They found nothing that they wanted, but they handcuffed Ms. Tai Yan, and arrested her along with her mother Li Qiongfen (also a practitioner). On the same morning, another Falun Dafa practitioner, Ms. Jiang Hongling from the same county, was also arrested and her computer was taken away. More than ten fellow practitioners in the same county have had their homes ransacked and have been interrogated.
