(Clearwisdom.net) In October 1999, I went to Beijing to appeal; I was sent back to my hometown and confined in a local detention center for more than five months. Later, I was illegally sentenced to one and a half years of forced labor and was subsequently sent to Baimalong Forced Labor Camp in Zhuzhou City, Hunan Province in March 2001.

BEIJING, July 13 (AFP) - A Chinese Falungong [practitioner] who had migrated to Japan has been sentenced to 18 months in a labor camp in China after she distributed material belonging to the banned spiritual group on a return visit, her mother said Saturday.

Yuko Kaneko was very distressed to see the Jiang Regime's persecution of Falun Dafa practitioners. On May 24, 2002, Yuko Kaneko was illegally arrested by the Chinese police when she was handing out Falun Dafa materials on the streets of Beijing. She is still held in custody.
