(Minghui.org) Today’s news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 9 cities or counties in 6 provinces, where at least 20 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.

2. [Xianning City, Hubei Province] Three Teachers Suspended from Teaching

4. [Bin County, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Liu Guizhi and Ms. Sun Ru Arrested
5. [Baoding City, Hebei Province] Ms. Tang Ronghua and Ms. Feng Yingxin Arrested
6. [Jingzhou City, Hubei Province] Ms. Yu Hongyan Detained
7. [Jilin City, Jilin Province] Mr. Su Changlin Detained
8. [Jixi City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Zhang Guiqin Detained
9. [Jixi City, Heilongjiang Province] Seven Practitioners Harassed
10. [Beijing] Ms. Gao Ying Detained
1. [Yantai City, Shandong Province] Ms. Nie Xiaomei Facing Indictment
Ms. Nie Xiaomei and Ms. Zou Yingchun were arrested by Daliuhang Police Station officers on December 29, 2025, and taken to the Yantai City Detention Center. Ms. Xie’s case was submitted to the Penglai District Procuratorate in February 2026. Ms. Zou’s situation isn’t clear.
2. [Xianning City, Hubei Province] Three Teachers Suspended from Teaching
Three teachers from Hubei University of Science and Technology have been suspended from teaching classes since the spring of 2025. The teachers includeMs. Yan Qin, associate professor in the School of Foreign Languages, Mr. Li Mincai, a lecturer of pathology, and Mr. Zheng Shuanghua, associate professor in the Department of Medical Imaging.
3. [Pingliang City, Gansu Province] Mr. Cao Jianping Detained
Mr. Cao Jianping was arrested by officers from the Pingliang City Domestic Security Division on March 11, 2026, and his home was ransacked. His Falun Gong books and the computer were confiscated, and he is now being held in a detention center.
4. [Bin County, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Liu Guizhi and Ms. Sun Ru Arrested
Ms. Liu Guizhi and Ms. Sun Ru were arrested on March 21, 2026, after being reported by a few students for talking to them about Falun Gong.
5. [Baoding City, Hebei Province] Ms. Tang Ronghua and Ms. Feng Yingxin Arrested
Ms. Tang Ronghua and her non-practitioner husband were arrested at home on March 20, 2026, by officers from the Qingyuan District Police Department and the Lizhuang Township Police Station.
Ms. Feng Yingxin and her non-practitioner husband were arrested at home on March 21, 2026, and her home was ransacked.
6. [Jingzhou City, Hubei Province] Ms. Yu Hongyan Detained
Ms. Yu Hongyan was arrested at her shop on March 4, 2026, by Zhou Yixing from the Fengkou Police Station, along with two other officers from Honghu City. The police ransacked Ms. Yu’s shop and confiscated her Falun Gong books, a photo of the founder of Falun Gong, stamps, a laminator, a media player, a satellite receiver, DVDs, wall posters, and other materials related to Falun Gong.
Ms. Yu was taken to the Fengkou Police Station for interrogation. She refused to cooperate. She was detained for 15 days in a local lockup.
7. [Jilin City, Jilin Province] Mr. Su Changlin Detained
Mr. Su Changlin, in his 50s, was arrested by officers from the Taishan Road Police Station on March 19, 2026, for talking to people about Falun Gong. He was given eight days of detention.
8. [Jixi City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Zhang Guiqin Detained
Ms. Zhang Guiqin was arrested on March 17, 2026, while talking to people about Falun Gong. Her home was ransacked, and she was placed under a 15-day detention.
9. [Jixi City, Heilongjiang Province] Seven Practitioners Harassed
Seven practitioners in Hengshan District have been harassed by police since March 2026. The practitioners include Ms. Zou Guiying, 87, Ms. Wang Cuilian, Ms. He Ying, Ms. Zhang Huiling, Ms. You Hongyan, Ms. Hao Yunzhu, and Mr. Zhou Shuchun. Ms. Zous’s several Falun Gong books were confiscated.
10. [Beijing] Ms. Gao Ying Detained
Ms. Gao Ying was arrested on March 7, 2026. She was held at the Shunyi District Lockup for 12 days and released on March 19, 2026.
