(Minghui.org) Falun Dafa practitioners in the Kumamoto region of Japan held protests in front of the two Chinese Consulates on Kyushu on December 31, 2025. They condemned the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) 26-year persecution of Falun Dafa (also known as Falun Gong) and called on the international community to pay attention to and to help stop the human rights abuses.

Practitioners held protests in front of the Chinese Consulates in Nagasaki and Fukuoka on Kyushu on December 31.
The events were held in the afternoon and evening in front of the Chinese consulates in Nagasaki and Fukuoka.
Practitioners displayed banners and information boards that read: “Falun Dafa Is Good,” “Stop the Persecution of Falun Gong,” “End the Forced Organ Harvesting of Falun Gong Practitioners,” “Return Freedom to Falun Gong,” and so on.
Pedestrians and people in passing cars slowed down to read their signs. Some people talked with practitioners and expressed their dismay. After learning about the persecution, some said the CCP’s systemic persecution of belief and its state-sanctioned forced organ harvesting was shocking. Many people said they admired practitioners for their courage and especially for persevering in exposing the persecution over the past 26 years.
A candlelight vigil was held in the evening to commemorate those practitioners who were persecuted to death for their steadfast belief in Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance. The solemn atmosphere reflected practitioners’ grief for the deceased and symbolized their steadfast commitment to justice and faith.
Practitioners wish to let more people know about the persecution, raise awareness of China’s human rights abuses, and encourage the international community to help stop these crimes against humanity.
