(Minghui.org) The British Museum is a world-renowned tourist attraction. Falun Dafa (Falun Gong) practitioners are there year-round and tell people about the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) persecution. For many years, practitioners have talked with Chinese people and answered their questions in front of the museum, and helped them see through the CCP’s lies.

What You Said Completely Changed My View
When a young Chinese man was told about the CCP’s state-sanctioned forced organ harvesting from Falun Gong practitioners, he immediately signed a petition calling to end it. A practitioner praised his righteous action, saying it was remarkable. The young man explained that he knew several Falun Gong practitioners in China who were persecuted and arrested because they refused to give up their beliefs. He knew they were all good people, and they were persecuted because the CCP does not uphold human rights.
The practitioner further explained the importance of quitting the CCP and its affiliated organizations to ensure safety, because the regime deceives people into pledging their lives to the communist party, thus destroying their own ties to the divine. The young man said he was a Christian, “Now that I believe in God, I can no longer be a member of the CCP’s atheist organizations.” He withdrew from the Communist Youth League and Young Pioneers using an alias. He said, “Hearing your talk today has completely overturned my understanding.”
Falun Gong Is So Good
Three young Chinese people studying in the UK passed by the stand, took a newspaper, and left. They returned 20 minutes later. One of them told a practitioner that he had studied in Beijing for seven years and had some questions.
He asked, “The government said Falun Gong was a cult. With 100 million practitioners nationwide, how could it be that?”
The practitioner explained that there’s no provision in the Constitution or the National People’s Congress laws that designates Falun Gong as a cult. It was Jiang Zemin, the former CCP head, who launched the persecution, out of jealousy, that accused Falun Gong of being a cult. It is not a law. The CCP-controlled media outlets like the People’s Daily echoed this statement and spread the defamation. They nodded in agreement.
The practitioner also said that she and her mother-in-law experienced improvement in their physical and mental health, and that they eliminated resentment after practicing Falun Gong. One girl said, “Thank you for sharing this! We had no idea Falun Gong was so good.” They all agreed to withdraw from the CCP and its affiliated organizations.
The CCP Is Evil
A surgeon from China approached the stand and said, “I support you. The CCP is evil. I participated in the June 4 protest in 1989.” He added that he could no longer find accurate information about the democracy movement in China.
Seeing Falun Gong practitioners persist in raising awareness, regardless of the weather, he was deeply moved. “For 30 years, of all the groups pursuing democracy and freedom, Falun Gong has done the best because you believe in Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance. Having faith means you have principles. There’s no faith in China, so the CCP wants to eliminate those with faith.”
The doctor gave practitioners a thumbs-up and said, “You are the pride of the Chinese people!”
The CCP Mixes Nation, People, and the Party
A Hong Kong man in his 60s approached the stand and said he often read Falun Gong newspapers in Hong Kong, but couldn’t find them in mainland China. He said the CCP promised: “One country, two systems, and no change for 50 years,” but it failed to keep its word, and the situation in Hong Kong is dire. “Falun Gong practitioners distributed flyers there, and I saw people hired by the CCP causing trouble. The CCP has mixed the country, the people, and the Party together, and enslaves people.”
Seeing overseas practitioners brave the elements and volunteering to raise awareness, he said, “It’s not easy for you. You’ve worked so hard. Take care.”
Chinese People Wish to Know the Facts
Over the years, outside the British Museum in London, many Chinese tourists have learned about the persecution. Some immediately renounced the CCP and its affiliated organizations, while others took informational materials home to read. Some lamented that they had never seen this information in China and only heard about it for the first time while traveling abroad.
A practitioner told them, “Falun Gong practitioners raise awareness not for themselves, but to help more people distinguish between good and evil. Good will be rewarded, and evil meets retribution. This is an unchanging principle. Everyone has the opportunity to choose.”
Falun Gong practitioners follow the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance, and raise awareness of the persecution in front of the museum to the Chinese tourists. They also learned that the Chinese people, including the elderly, students, and doctors, wished to know the facts and wanted freedom of belief.
