(Minghui.org) Practitioners in Italy held events in several cities from July 19 to 26, 2025, to tell people how the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) persecutes Falun Dafa. They called on all sectors of society to join them in their efforts to end the CCP’s brutal persecution that has gone on for 26 years. People expressed their support for the practitioners’ peaceful efforts to expose the persecution.
Information Day Events in Padova and Treviso
Practitioners from northeastern Italy held activities in Padova on the weekend of July 19 and in Treviso on the weekend of July 26 to tell people about the CCP’s decades-long suppression that targets Falun Dafa practitioners.
Practitioners distributed flyers about the persecution of Falun Dafa to passersby, including students and tourists, to inform them of the atrocities committed by the CCP. After learning about the CCP’s human rights violations, including forced organ harvesting, many people signed a petition calling for an immediate end to the persecution.

Two people who said they were Christians stopped to talk with practitioners. One of them read aloud the characters “Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance” in Chinese on the flyer. He said he’d learned Chinese so he could spread his belief to Chinese people. He knew the CCP was persecuting Falun Dafa in China, but he wanted to know why.
After practitioners explained the facts about the persecution, the two were disturbed by its cruelty, especially the crime of forced organ harvesting.
The man who spoke Chinese expressed interest in learning more about Falun Dafa and agreed with Falun Dafa’s principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance. He said he would read the Falun Dafa books and hoped to meet with practitioners again to discuss the practice in depth.
Activities in Rome and Torino
Practitioners demonstrated the Falun Dafa exercises in the center of Torino and distributed truth-clarifying materials on Sunday, July 20. The event attracted many residents and tourists, and some asked for more information.

They also described the brutality of the 26-year-long persecution as well as the CCP’s transnational repression outside of China. Many people said this was the first time they’d heard about the persecution. They were shocked and signed the petition calling for it to end.
