Falun Gong Information Day in Limoges, France

(Minghui.org) Falun Gong practitioners in western France held their first Falun Gong information day event on Republic Square in Limoges on July 12, 2025. They introduced Falun Gong and protested the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) persecution of the practice.

As the second most populated town in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region, Limoges is a city of art and history known for its rich cultural heritage and its world-renowned porcelain. Tourists and local residents learned about Falun Gong during the event and signed a petition calling for an end to the CCP’s atrocities.

Many people who said they had never heard of Falun Gong listened to practitioners tell them about the CCP’s state-sanctioned forced organ harvesting from Falun Gong practitioners. They were appalled by the brutality of the persecution and signed a petition calling for its end.

Young people in Limoges who hadn’t heard about the persecution before took time to listen to practitioners’ descriptions and signed the petition without hesitation.

When one man quoted an inaccurate media report, a practitioner told him the truth about Falun Gong. He changed his mind and decided to sign the petition to show his support. He commended the practitioners on their great work and took some flyers to distribute for them. He especially asked for flyers in Chinese so that he could share them with his Chinese friends.
