Additional Persecution News from China – June 19, 2025 (4 Reports)

(Minghui.org) Today’s news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 4 cities or counties in 3 provinces, where at least 5 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.

1. [Chongqing] Ms. Lin Zhongying Faces Trial
2. [Xinji City, Hebei Province] Ms. Wang Jingyun Arrested
3. [Jilin City, Jilin Province] Ms. Wu Shunhua and Ms. Lei Xiuxiang Admitted to Prison
4. [Nanchong City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Pu Suzhang Arrested

1. [Chongqing] Ms. Lin Zhongying Faces Trial

Ms. Lin Zhongying from the Banan District was scheduled to appear in the Jiangbei District Court at 9 a.m. on June 26, 2025.

2. [Xinji City, Hebei Province] Ms. Wang Jingyun Arrested

Ms. Wang Jingyun was arrested by several Xinji City police officers on the morning of June 18, 2025.

3. [Jilin City, Jilin Province] Ms. Wu Shunhua and Ms. Lei Xiuxiang Admitted to Prison

Ms. Wu Shunhua was sentenced to three years and six months in prison. Ms. Lei Xiuxiang was sentenced to five years in prison. Both practitioners have been admitted to the Jilin Province Women’s Prison.

4. [Nanchong City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Pu Suzhang Arrested

Ms. Pu Suzhang, 80, was arrested at home by Xihe Police Station officers, who broke in at around 7 p.m. on June 10, 2025. They ransacked her home and confiscated a video of Falun Gong’s founder and other items. She was interrogated and forced to sign the case document at the police station before being released.

Two officers went to her home three days later on June 13. They said she was given a 15-day administrative detention, but it wouldn’t be enforced. She was forced to sign the detention notice.
