Additional Persecution News from China – June 15, 2025 (9 Reports)

(Minghui.org) Today’s news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 9 cities or counties in 6 provinces, where at least 22 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.

1. [Yingkou City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Ji Guihua Detained
2. [Jingmen City, Hubei Province] Ms. Chen Guiying Arrested
3. [Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province] Five Practitioners Detained
4. [Zibo City, Shandong Province] Mr. Di Maochen Admitted to Prison
5. [Linqing City, Shandong Province] Ms. Gu Jinlan Arrested
6. [Qiqihar City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Xu Jinfeng Detained
7. [Xintai City, Hebei Province] Wei Tongshun Arrested
8. [Linghai City, Liaoning Province] Ten Practitioners Detained
9. [Suining City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Liu Xiaoli Detained

1. [Yingkou City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Ji Guihua Detained

Ms. Ji Guihua was arrested at her son’s home by Dongqiao Police Station officers on June 13, 2025, after a surveillance system recorded her putting up Falun Gong posters. She was put into the Yingkou City Lockup on June 14 and scheduled to be released on June 28.

2. [Jingmen City, Hubei Province] Ms. Chen Guiying Arrested

Ms. Chen Guiying, who lives on her own, was arrested at home by five police officers on the morning of June 12, 2025. Her current situation is unknown.

3. [Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province] Five Practitioners Detained

Five practitioners in Yi County were arrested on June 3, 2025. Mr. Jiang Zhichen was released on June 8. Mr. Zheng Baicheng was released on June 10. Mr. Yin Qun was released on June 13.

Wu Shimin, gender unknown, and Ms. Zhao Xia are still being held in the Jinzhou City Detention Center for a 15-day detention.

4. [Zibo City, Shandong Province] Mr. Di Maochen Admitted to Prison

Mr. Di Maochen, of Zhangdian District, was admitted to the Jinan Prison on June 11, 2025.

5. [Linqing City, Shandong Province] Ms. Gu Jinlan Arrested

Ms. Gu Jinlan, 75, a retired teacher, was arrested at the Shangdian Township Fair on June 13, 2025. She was taken to the Shangdian Police Station and released at 5 p.m.

6. [Qiqihar City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Xu Jinfeng Detained

Ms. Xu Jinfeng, of Fuyu County, was arrested by Tiedong Police Station officers on the morning of May 25, 2025, after being reported by a woman for talking to her about the persecution of Falun Gong. Ms. Xu was taken to the police station. Officer Gao, first name unknown, hit her face with a book. She was detained for seven days and released on May 31, 2025.

7. [Xintai City, Hebei Province] Wei Tongshun Arrested

Wei Tongshun, gender unknown, lives in the Qianluzi Residential District of Xindu District. Wei distributed Falun Gong flyers in a village in Nanshimen Township on June 2, 2025, and was reported by a villager and arrested. After being taken to the Nanshimen Police Station, Wei experienced a medical condition and was transferred to the Zhongxing Road Police Station. The police ransacked Wei’s home and released Wei after forcing Wei’s family to sign certain statements.

8. [Linghai City, Liaoning Province] Ten Practitioners Detained

Among the ten practitioners arrested in a police sweep on June 2, 2025, Ms. Liang Jinjun, Ms. Dai Yunjuan, Ms. Dai Yunzhen, Ms. Yu Aimin, Ms. Niu Fang, Mr. Liang Chengdong, and Ms. Wang Yanjie were released on June 13, 2025; Wang Yanjun, gender unknown, was released on June 14, 2025; Dong Suliang, gender unknown, and Li Jing, gender unknown, of Jinzhou City, were each given 15 days of detention and scheduled to be released on June 17.

9. [Suining City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Liu Xiaoli Detained

Ms. Liu Xiaoli was arrested on May 30, 2025 and given ten days of administrative detention, by the local Domestic Security Division and Nanjin Road Police Station. She has since been released.
