(Minghui.org) Today’s news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 3 cities or counties in 3 provinces, where at least 4 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.

1. [Xingning City, Guangdong Province] Mr. Li Zhuozhong and His Wife Ms. Liao Yuanqun Admitted to Prison
2. [Taiyuan City, Shanxi Province] Case Against Ms. Xia Yilin Submitted to the Procuratorate
3. [Qiqihar City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Yao Xingqi and His Wife Arrested

1. [Xingning City, Guangdong Province] Mr. Li Zhuozhong and His Wife Ms. Liao Yuanqun Admitted to Prison

Mr. Li Zhuozhong was admitted to Sihui Prison on May 7, 2025. His wife, Ms. Liao Yuanqun, was taken to Guangzhou City Women’s Prison. Both of them were sentenced to ten years and lost their appeals.

2. [Taiyuan City, Shanxi Province] Case Against Ms. Xia Yilin Submitted to the Procuratorate

Ms. Xia Yilin was arrested at home on March 19, 2025, and has been detained in Taiyuan City Fourth Women’s Detention Center ever since. Her case was recently submitted to the Yingze District Procuratorate.

3. [Qiqihar City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Yao Xingqi and His Wife Arrested

Mr. Yao Xingqi from the Fularji District and his wife, a non-practitioner, were arrested by Beixing Police Station officers on the morning of May 10, 2025. They were released on bail around 10 p.m. after being forced to pay a 2,000-yuan bond.
